What I should say: || It's ultimately not what we as players want but what they as developers want - it's their game, not ours. ||
What I wanna say (warning: very rude): || You just mad because TGC adding the slightest bit of difficulty to their "baby" game*, you absolute overblown boring buffoon. ||
What I wanna say to the angy vets: || How you gon' be like this? Like fr you're one of the oldest players in the game and 1) you're acting like little child and 2) you're upset there's even a little change? Grow up and accept that change is the only constant of the world. ||

• || I myself do not believe is a baby game. I'm being satirical and getting a laugh out of insulting egotistical, salty, and above all else, 🥶 cringe, players. ||

I mean, personally, I'm not a fan of shattering. I have my own issues with it as a beta tester, but it is what it is. people are free to like and dislike it as they please. Tgc can't please everyone

You need a butt ton of candles and hearts to get capes, you usually get them by buying them from spirits. You can trade hearts from friends, memory candles also give you hearts if someone likes it. You also get heart shards when your friends lights up your stars

I am planning a season actually. I am calling it Season of Depths and it's a cave season.
Basically the entrance is a deep cave and mine shaft area with a Minecart and you ride on the minecart into the seasonal area.
The cosmetics will be along the line of crystal themed and mining gear! Emotes I'm not sure yet ngl.
But basically the quests will most likely be somewhere along the lines of helping the miners mine out power diamond supplies and such.

the season is about taking a break from the adventure and having a good time with friends. as such, all the spirits are children. the seasonal guide is a teacher
more emotes to play children’s games
emotes include tag, leapfrog, jump rope, red light/green light, and rock paper scissors. cosmetics include school uniforms, silly hats, and the ultimate gift is a kazoo
the season takes place in a schoolhouse in the daylight prairie village. to get there, you must ride a manta colored yellow and black (like a schoolbus). the locale is called “daylight academy”
reliving these spirits’ memories is different: you have to play their respective game with them
each quest is about learning effective ways to play the children’s game emotes with the spirits

I imagine the amount of spirits is probably 4. They were went down to mine as a job, and I imagine they get along well.
Our location doesn't effect the area at all
I think the spirits will be in the seasonal area so you just travel back by minecart.
The area hasn't been planned out yet, but it will be somewhere in forest. Maybe the first area on the left. One of the islands in the clouds leading to forest would have the mine shaft.

~ Welcome to the 🍂 Season of Adventure! (#SeasonAdventure)

~ My Season is about journeying to a new and geologically diverse world, full of light and dark creatures alike.
~ A completely new world to explore, with new hazards and new games to be had!
~ My Season has 8 (half as expensive) Spirits and a Guide. Each Spirit is designed off of the area it is based in, with 2 idles, 2 calls, and 4 emotes.
~ The Seasonal Hub is called the "Newbeach Hut" and works as a hotel. There's rooms to sleep, check the new constellation, work on quests, etc. The new port in Isle will bring you there, unlocked after completing the Vault of Knowledge and entering the Eden Lobby.
~ There's 9 WL to find, 1 per area. You have to complete that Season's quest before getting it, which doubles as reliving Spirits. As you complete more quests, you unlock more facilities in the Newbeach Hut, your home away from home.
~ You take the aforementioned boat from the Isle of Dawn to Nova Island.

Now that I have the big stuff done, time to get into the juicy details. But first-

Nova Island is a large and geologically diverse continent. When you first arrive after receiving an invite from a message in a bottle (it's a map going from the spawnpoint to the dock), there's a Guide waiting for you at the port. In the center of the lobby (front room of NbH, also where warping takes you), there's a WL.
The continent itself is divided into 9 sectors: The passive Newbeach on the southwest, the large Grandflower Meadow in the center, the raging Dustdevil Desert to the east, the suspicious Shifting Shore to the southeast, the freezing Glowglacier to the northeast, the spooky Jellyfish Jungle to the northwest, the grand South Peak to the... well... south, the cloudy Murky Mists to the west, and finally the volcanic Powerful Pyre to the far north.

Title of Season: Season of Storms

I think it could bring along a new mechanic/powerup to make our wingpower stronger, as you'd be flying through strong winds, downside though is it effecting all the current flight experience. Plus finale realm, shouldn't be able to fly there.

I'm unsure rn of what emotes would come with it, but i know the season symbol could be a lightning bolt!

i think the best entrance to it could be at season of flight area?

Season of Change

This season is about change, how while some things stay some things change, people grow up, etc. Kind of like a life lesson.

The season brings a new seasonal area that has 4 sub areas which represent the different "seasons", spring summer fall and winter.

The spirits have already been drawn and I'll post them in #sky-fanart-sketches-and-art-chat after sending this msg :]
Cheerful Gardener - A watering emote, your sky kid pulls out a small watering can and waters anything in front of them. The cutscene from this spirit shows them watering a bush of flowers.
Dreaming Performer - A daydreaming emote, your sky kid, sways very slightly from side to side before snapping out of it, similar to the sleepy emote. This spirit's cutscene is them practicing a dance before they stop, performing the daydreaming emote.
Hopeful Protector - A thumbs up emote, exactly as it sounds. The spirit is shown guarding the entrance to the seasonal area, Lonely Guardian, another spirit from the season checks to see if they'll be alright on their own, to which he gives them a nod and does the thumbs up emote.
Lonely Guardian - A stance spirit. When standing your sky kid keeps their arms close to their chest, with their cape covering most of their figure, sitting has them curled up in a ball, knees close to their chest as they grip the edges of their cape, the 2nd one is similar except they have their head down, hiding their face almost and the laying down one is them curled up in the fetal position on their side. This spirit is shown wandering through their cold and empty home before curling up into a corner beside their door.

The seasonal area is located within daylight prairie, hidden amongst the clouds at the village area, right before the temple.

There would be two hidden winged lights.

my season is called season of the rails and it's about an underground city in isle that survived the apocalypse and used to be a major travel hub with ✨trains✨ it follows a group of spirits trying to restore the subway with magic
the subway connects every realm in sky, so basically flight 2 i imagine this would connect seasonal areas that didn't exist during flight/don't exist yet so it would actually be useful
bats <3 one emote i'm adamant about is a stim emote where you do the flappy arms thing but you actually lift off the ground because. yknow. skykid
deep beneath isle in a town with subway tunnels, i imagine some would be flooded at first because that's what happens to tunnels when they arent maintained
i'd have six spirits so i can show off the diversity of bat faces and wings as for the winged light there'd be five, one for each tunnel, and you can only get them once you restore them during the quests
each of the tunnels has a different problem that you have to solve using the spirits' magic (eg one is filled with sand so you have to use cyan magic to blow it away, one is filled with crabs so you have to scare them off with red magic, etc) i think these should be platforming challenges and minigames because if i have to collect one more set of items i might die on the spot. also the cyan magic user is a younger air prophet because self-indulgent squeak moment

i made up a season a while ago that was designed to push the game into it's next stage after completing the season, like a secondary app; "Sky 2: New Horizons" or something like that. all i have is a beginning cutscene and the name.

The Season of New Horizons, the cutscene: your skykid is in home and sees something wash up on the shore (where days of rainbow is rn). Your skykid walks over to it and picks it up, brushing off the sand. It is revealed to be a flip-phone. When you flip it open, it has no battery. Your skykid looks at the ocean, towards the horizon. The first quest will be to go thru all the realms and find special electricity gems to charge it up. anddd... that's all i got so far. sorry it's not that good

But I was so annoyed when one of the rocks I hid behind didnt work at all and I just got continuously bonked by rocks then had to crawl alone The new textures are pretty too but I find that the red spotlight thats supposed to show the rocks in waves is harder to see for some players. Completing Quest 1 and recovering the Dainty Airhead will unlock the flower shop and net you a soft call.
Completing Quest 2 and recovering the Vain Cactus-Lover will unlock the transport prop shop and net you the angry call.
Completing Quest 3 and recovering the Emotional Swimmer will unlock the spa, kitchen, and baths and net you a somersault emote (it can be used midair or midswim to flip.
Completing Quest 4 and recovering the Neglected Genius will upgrade the shops and kitchen, which will both be progressed further with each update. It'll also unlock the constellation room and net you the head hit emote.
Completing Quest 5 and recovering the Terrific Survivalist will unlock the Travelling Merchant's shop at Nova Island and net you the Hurry Up! emote.
Completing Quest 6 and recovering the Unsophisticated Idealist will unlock the room design shop and net you the swaying stance.
Completing Quest 7 and recovering the Runaway Fool will unlock the emergency supply shop and net you the panic-stricken emote.
Completing Quest 8 and recovering the Entranced Pyrophobe will double the utility of the spa, kitchen, and baths, unlock a hidden gate in the Powerful Pyre, and net you the entranced stance.

Season of history-

You're sky kid is in golden wasteland and looks at one of the destroyed structures and begins to wonder how it ended this way. As they look around the structures they notice a gate on one of them. As you get it open and symbols appear as you enter though the dark gate (those symbols you see on the cave in isle yeah those) as you go deeper and deeper you realize your no longer in golden wasteland but in a huge cave, three times bigger than prophecy. As you do the quest you learn more about the past. All four tribes: tiny, chibi, player, and giant. Also how you came to this world and what you're life quest is

Based around astrology, and it’d come in two seasons, the first related to the first 6nmkntjs then the second to the other six months.. because if I had the same season the amount of SC per item would be no higher than like 18

So, the flower shop allows you to buy some flowers that you can set as a temp prop. Pressing the prop button (on Switch, ZR) will use up a flower and throw pollen in front of you. There's a type of pollen for each area and the particles correspond.
Transport shop lets you buy stuff that can make transportation across this vast land easier, like a parasol for Dustdevil Desert.
Spa/baths let you chat with others.
For Darren's kitchen question, idk you tell me. 🍳
Constellation room lets you access the Season's constellation retroactively (Season Pass items cost 3x as much normal candles post-Season).
Room design shop lets you design the walls and floor of your personal room at the Hut that you can invite others too.
Emergency supplies is stuff like krill-red auto-fireworks or shields when you get hit.
You also have to use cold stuff the entire time so guess what Q8 does.

It would take place in a large lab building on maybe a cliff, maybe in valley. There'd be contraption scattered around the outside and inside.

You usually relive the spirits which usually show them building certain contraptions like floating furniture, hoverboards, and more. Maybe even a poor spirit gets launched out of the railgun cannon while the other spirits go (0 - 0)

How would your Season's quests function?
Maybe it could be about restoring the random contraptions found in the lab by finding random materials scattered about and then testing them? Idk tbh lol

here's my guess on what sky kids biology is like based on what lore we get

we're vessels, clay or stone humanoid figures that host a inner light child, without the outside shell we'd be vulnerable and would be unable to hold more light (hence why we can pick up other winged light like ourselves)
we were made to host these winged lights and return them to the stars hence why we sacrifice them in ||eden and the cutscene we get in orbit||

most of this is explained through the drawings in the cave in isle of dawn
