After ten months, the people in my boarding house/year group have finally made it clear

Yikes! That's because in order to get you to join the server, you have to click "allow" to the bot. The server is set up so that you need to click "allow" on the bot, but once the bot is in your authorized apps you have to remove it manually.

The bot will force join you into the spammer's discord servers against your permission. But the bot itself is ultimately harmless, it just... does annoying things :/

honestly if you know yourself and you didn't do anything wrong, and other people who choose to believe right away without asking for your side of the story, you learn quickly who are true friends and whatnot. Anyone can make up stuff about you, not everyone is going to like you, so you might as well learn this now. People can be nasty its what they can do, they rely on your self image and how you feel about approval from society, your reputation etc.

If you know yourself and what you have and you haven't done anything wrong, then just chill. People come and go, you can't please everyone so just do your own thing. Its this sort of thinking that can help you not be hacked, because for example this hack, they rely on you to want to defend yourself from an obviously fake situation. If you know you didnt do anything then you can scoff and block and let others know.

This is my advice for you guys and I know it might come off as rude or something, and I know its harder to do. But if you can sort of grow to be yourself and not try to be in the crowd/with social media etc it will help with your mental health.

I say this as someone who is older then you guys and honestly Im even now understanding the "adults"/parents how the brain works. The last few months I have been noticing a difference in how I think and it definitely comes with age. I honestly feel for you guys who are young, and teenagers still.

Hormones suck, social media is awful, education and work and life in general can be awful, its tough, but as you grow and some of you might know what Im saying is that. You'll notice things as you get older. Everything is shoved into your face and it can be daunting. We are social pack members of a society who just to fit in for approval, for survival and safety its in our DNA to want these things.

However Im sure you all know that while its definitely ok to be in groups and follow trends etc. Its also ok to be on your own, its not weird not being with the crowd. Its ok, take your time to learn yourself, enjoy your company. This is very easy to say and I know being young and being trapped in school with people who might not understand you sucks. But you won't be around them forever, you will meet new people as they come and go. Just be careful and that its ok.

If you get these messages, do not follow their instructions. Report it to the server mods using #contact-the-mods, and to Discord itself using https://dis.gd/report.

If you scanned the QR code, reset your password to kick the scammers out. Enable two factor authentication as another layer of safety. Contact Discord support if you don’t have access to your account.

Idk about y'all, but as a writer, Sky has been such an inspiration that I'm creating my own world, which is actually inspired from many other games/books etc but Sky is one of the biggest influence

Here I thought making friends is hard but not in the sky world since alot of people are open arms for you, even if you have social anxiety sky friends can help you lessen that aswell as try to cheer you up in the sky world, sky is far different in the real world as not many friends will actually help you properly, although sky friends are different they help whenever you feel down or have problems, this game is truly a blessing of being created
