I lured all the crab over the bridge and kinda have the whole area for myself. Learned from last time shard in the same area. I ragequitted the first time I encounter that but now I find it manageable. I use the butterflies over the bridge to heal and a fire prop placed at the candles sheltered by the boulder. glad it was just a screw! i also broke something just a bit ago. i was washing chemistry dishes (mostly beakers and test tubes) and dropped an entire beaker full of those small test tubes the beaker broke and so did like 4 of those test tubes. half of the sink was covered in glass shatterings but i cleaned it up and am not hurt

i enjoy chemistry a lot! it's really difficult for me so the topics don't click very well in my brain but i'm sticking with it anyway because it's just so fun and interesting go me. but ouagh quarantine chemistry labs sound awful. my teachers just gave up teaching during quarantine pretty much. my school was not great during that time. if i was in college like i am now though i guess i would have had to do the labs online. ew. in-person labs is the best part of my organic chemistry class! we got to do stuff with fire last semester it was awesome

oh biology is terrifying to me i took the most basic class at my college and couldn't even understand the most simple stuff. i relate a lot to my friend who is also a chemistry major one time they were studying with me and some of their biology friends came in and started drawing diagrams of cells and their functions on the chalk board and my friend dramatically made disgusted and horrified faces 😅 i remember just being like wow... no idea what any of that means but i sure will find out! but then i took that biology class and was like oh... yeah i'd have a similar reaction to those cell drawings now haha

i think that makes sense. in my opinion, it doesn't make sense for specialized topics be pushed away (unless only a single person wants to talk about it because that's just not a conversation) because of worry that people who don't relate won't want to talk because conversation topics change often. or maybe i am just a person who is more relaxed than others about it? i find myself not relating to or not feeling interested in chat topics quite often. but i close the chat and do something else such as playing sky or homework and don't really mind it. i understand where you are coming from though and i can try to not be too specific in my conversation topics. i think i would prefer not to dm!

Honestly, I don't use spells that often outside of instant recharge or chibi, I'd rather they work towards emote organization. There a good... hundred or so now, give or take twenty, and it's really annoying to scroll through such a massive menu only to click on the wrong one, then scroll AGAIN.

I love doing that! For people I met through the discord if I’m planning to send a heart I will often tell them that I don’t expect a trade before they leave (since you need to spend a candle to access that node, that’s a good time to mention it)

actually all of revival can return. All that needs to happen for a spirit to return is for their season and the season after to be done. Technically it’s even possible for two embers spirits to return

1. Unnamed, because they always change after reborn and reborn from Eden. Their form always lasted for a week before they have to do the cycle (They can't stop)
2. Volley, the toy crab from Tender Toymaker. Unnamed bought it before the Krill incident (this is based on T2E, I just made it for my Sky Kid), and they got their Sky Kid form when Unnamed was unable to reborn for some reason.
3. Cribkin, crab from Mischief, who lost after all their Mischief gang returned after the event. Volley found them and then decided to go together.
4. Scarlet and Saffron, the twins. Saffron eventualy gone after being attacked by Krill, and Scarlet met Volley and Cribkin, and the crabs carried her to meet Unnamed, as they all were reborn after the one Eden cycle later, and yes, Saffron was revived

Okay, I just read the announcement in full for the first time, you can't feature any collab content in any capacity??!? That's so unnecessarily limiting. That's content that's in the game. That's content that's not only allowed to be used in promotional material for sky, but also used in fans' content that they can make money from. (Example: Youtube videos about collabs) It's not even like the Sky Creator Awards is an actual recognized awards ceremony outside of the game and its community. If there isn't a problem with having these licensed materials in the live game and posting content about it online, why is it disallowed for submissions? I have trouble imagining any legal repercussions. If anyone has any insight about why this is the case, I'm happy to hear it.

Sorry, I can't discuss how to go about it any further because I feel like skybot's gonna grab me any moment. But all I'm saying is, don't be afraid to slowly ease your way in. Start small. You can even do commissions for friends and family members first, maybe a logo for their business or sticker designs for kids.

And I know exactly how you feel. I undercharge a lot because I feel like my art's not worth what people think it should be worth. I look at my drawing and say "I don't see why people think this looks good. It will always look flawed to me."

I'm actually the one who did the calendar design for my mom and dad's shop. I used to do posters and whatever graphic design's needed for my organization! And when my dad tried to open a fried chicken shop, I made the logo for it too. I made it eye-catching and cartoonish, because kids grabbing lunch love fried-chicken.

There's so many ways you can make a little bit of mun from your skill ;u;

Of course, those were pre-AI days. Nowadays people can just generate an image for their shop. 😔

If I remember correctly, there's some free programs online where they inject your image but won't drastically change it.
That way if it's fed into AI, it poisons its database.

I've been sharing art online for literally a decade or more. My artstyle's not mainstream enough for people to care to even feed it to AI. It all depends on you, but for me it doesn't bother me that my art might get stolen.

i feel like some people probably think i refuse to light/add them because they have less wings than me but i'm just shy and not a huge fan of people generally i refuse veterans and newbies and the inbetween if i don't feel like dealing with people

in my personal experience, I've found that players with at least 9 wings are much more likely to harass somebody to light them. I guess they have a sense of superiority?
