No it's pretty easy to learn. New players get the hang of it usually halfway through their first game. Easier if you've played other social deduction games before.

it mostly has a bunch of rulebooks because there are different "scripts" you can choose from depending on how complex you want the game to be. Or just... different rules to add for disabled or young players.

One of my favorite rules to add allows "something bad" (my choice for what "something" is) to happen to any player that talks over me if I call for silence :>

Sky is built on an in house game engine, and Sky has that specific style they're going on so that's what they could do with that. The base game was built for exclusively mobile platform when it was first released. But for sure this game's optimisation has improved over time, its just the limitations still exist for many devices

It's already a successful game after all. Good graphics doesn't always mean the game is good. The most important aspect is the playability, if the graphic is very detailed but it crashes and lags your device, then no it won't be enjoyable

Spot on. I was at grandma earlier and at first I heard this person play and I’m like ohhhhh music! So I sat with them and I was all supportive but then it started sounding too… non human. I opened up my own piano to see their keys and it was physically impossible to play all these keys at that speed cause what kind of fingers do you have. And you can’t play this with a keyboard it’s even harder. Eh it got so tiring eventually I turned off musical instruments and stopped giving attention. Then they came in the middle of the table where everyone was and continued the piece as if they never stopped. I guess everyone caught on cause no one reacted and the person left.

However, I'd like to report a cognitive accessibility barrier in the weekly Eye of Eden challenge. The final resurrection process is extremely slow and doesn't allow skipping the repetitive cutscenes.

For someone with ADHD, this 'forced patience' isn't meditative or poetic; on the contrary, it becomes agitating, exhausting, and exclusionary. The lack of new stimulation in scenes we've seen hundreds of times drains our mental energy. May I suggest including a 'Skip' option for those of us who have already completed this cycle, allowing the game to remain an inclusive space for all neurological backgrounds.

The only scenes I can think of in Eden and ||Orbit|| that can’t be skipped on repeats are the scene immediately after losing your last WL where you fall into the void, and then regaining your cape as the light pillar appears. And while I’ve never timed those scenes to see exactly how long they take, they surely can’t take longer than 30 seconds to a minute.

Everything else along the way has you at least doing something, even if it’s just walking to the glowing kid or to the reincarnation door. And the latter can be sped up by flying over to it.

But if those incredibly brief periods of not being able to move around and actively play the game are that frustrating for Toshiro, I’m surprised any sort of delay, like the Trial blessing cutscenes, hasn’t caused them excruciating boredom from lack of action.

The ascent to ||Orbit|| is meant to be part of the game and the journey. Maybe some people would prefer to have it taken out entirely, or just to be able to completely skip it, but I consider it an important victory lap of sorts to relax and unwind after the stress of Eden. No danger, just a chance to soar with the Light Creatures while gorgeous music plays, and I even get to be serenaded by Aurora’s singing in the second half.
