Real I took a 2 year break from sky just got back to it I and my family missed so much honestly I remember the olden days the golden days the nostalgia makes me cry I missed so much of my sky hood and it's not pleasant to be so nostalgic and sad about that honestly sky feels just quiet more quiet... It feels like it's not very Populated and Bright anymore it just doesn't feel like the olden days

It feels more Abandoned 😞😔 I'm a 2½ year sky player aka a vet and yet that 2 year break kinda broke me it was hard missing sky and I just after while forgot about it then my dad got a new controller and opened the game Then I rememberd SKYY we all found new ways of playing and now we have got back to the game we don't see as much people like I said but it's fun still... It just feels... Darker

it may just be that players are more spread out than they were before. there's a lot more levels, and shared spaces that allow players to clip through level geometry (effectively hiding inside walls and the ground) have become popular too.

I have seen an uptick in new players the past couple weeks alone

And the games more quiet the music feels like it's just gone in a lot of places and he ambience the just quiet ambiance feels LOUDER all I hear is the crickets and honestly something feels not right about it it feels like something happened to the sky community but idk maybe I'm crazy

i can relate to the feeling, but my reasons are that hardly any of the same players i played alongside are still active. seems every few months, I have to find a different crowd just because of people going inactive

so, you know how when you go into the cafe at Aviary Village, there's no one there? but you may hear the sounds of other players running around or even flying?

that's because people are invisible. the last update allowed shared spaces to be put in the cafe along the walls, and I can see the shadows of players moving around and their light reflecting off of walls. but not actual players!

this is going in a bug report soon, but I've been really concerned about the deserted Cafe for several updates now

this bug with the cafe has been driving me slightly mad. because it can be possible to be in the cafe with visible players, but it seems to take like half an hour before that happens? and in the meantime, you'll hear people walking around but can't see anyone

in comes whichever update suddenly allowing shared spaces in limited areas of the cafe, making it easier to get out of bounds. because somehow it's harder to chibi clip on the rounded window now. and what do I find? the allegory of the cave!

I first came across this bug 7 months ago, to put things into perspective

I don't think it's a failure to serve emerge. I think literally the other players are invisible.

because I can go into the cafe and after a few minutes, the interval that you usually merge into a server, hear the sounds of people running around. but you don't see anyone. and I finally got out of bounds and saw that!

so, I guess the cafe is just haunted 👻

i was playing music outside of aviary in a shared space, and then another player joined and played the flute together, and they were really good at it
so we played some songs together (obv emoted hearts to each other coz they were really good) and then they showed me that the rest of the shared space was made to resemble a basketball basket(? dunno if they were called that) and we played for quite a while scoring with the plushies

if smn gives you an honest critique and ways of improvement take it and try to get better but still make sure that u use your own unique artstyle

You can thank my friend for starting off my love for bats. Because they do this thing where they'll tell you what animal your face looks like & they told me my face looked like a flying fox to them. And at that time I was hoping for a cat or something so I was a little disappointed. But I took the label anyways. And then I remembered that as a kid, my dad used to call me Fruit Bat because I ONLY wanted to eat fruits. And I thought "Hm. Flying foxes are fruit bats, aren't they? That's cool." and I just kept doing more research on bats and I've kind of just fallen in love with all of them.

this is exactly what happened. The person that used the shared space WAS trying to help. But because the door wasn't opening (because a 2nd person also trying to open the door was also in a shared space) they entered the shared space and left the rest of us behind. So both people are at fault here

There's a certain spot in Forest that I go to for the rain sounds - I sometimes leave my game open for that and listen to it on my speakers
