Aeon. The Lighthorns became butterflies when they ascended and were reborn. I and a couple other folks in lorechat have held the theory that butterflies are sort of like single-celled Light organisms. The ‘building blocks’ of sorts to potentially become more complex Light Creatures like Mantas or birds or fish. And we pretty much had it confirmed for us.

It might not have been as grandiose as 2 Embers, but this is still a HUGE relevation into how the cycle of life and Light in the Kingdom works.

I believe so. I mean, look at how many different sizes of Mantas there are. I would assume that the longer they live without migrating to the mountain to ascend, the bigger a Light Creature can grow. It’s just a matter of when they choose to ascend.

Heck, we even see a Whale during our own (typical) ascent. They’re the one that breaks through the falling building that blocks our path and help us continue. You can even see them flying upwards in the distance in the same direction you take after that moment happens, implying that they’re taking the ascent to ||Orbit|| just like we are.

So I have been having some thinks though. Do you guys think it's the repetitiveness of the quests that make you feel less inclined to play it? I do know people loved Sanctuary, but I would also say it's quests are pretty repetitive. But there was space between them, and maybe that was also a big part in it.

I do think certain questlines make me more inclined to complete them like abyss and remembrance but in the end, the quests are the means to an end, so it's not that surprising that they're kind of repetitive imo. Like this season, the goal was to get lighthorns to the end of the realms, so every quest was progressing through the realms

i wasn't around for sanctuary itself but just from playing the season as a moth I'd say the quests were pretty different!! sanctuary is a huuuge area with lots of caves to explore, and the quests are basically treasure hunts where you just get a visual clue to find the bells. So imo every quest felt different! Those quests really made me appreciate sanctuary islands
Meanwhile in Migration, the game tells you exactly where to put the bells, so it's much less about exploration

I LOVED Migration Season. I totally get how people like Two Embers better, but for me I liked the more chill vibe of Migration. Outfits were great -- especially Manta Whisperer Outfit, Manta Whisp Cape, Migration Guide Outfit, Antlers, Antenna, and the emotes were class, some of the best in a long time. TBH, Two Embers stressed me out a bit but Migration was calmer and I liked that. Plus it was great to see like Forest Brook flooded and to ascend to Orbit with the creatures.

i provide you all here in cozy with said idea: take the point up gesture (because it points forward before pointing up) and put it in a slot on the favorites wheel, and then take the gesture and put it in a favorites wheel slot next to the other one. with this you can use the point up gesture and then before your skid points up you hit the gesture, if i have this thought correctly, it should work even if the target is right next to you (as long as you are facing them ofc)

my orange cat, named Skittles, is such a firebug. she always sleeps near the fireplace/heater, even when it isn't on.
when it isn't on, she just sits right in front of the glass, mere centimetres away, and just stares at it

The orange cat I know is named Lou. And he's a big sweetheart. My family and I raised him and his brother from kittens. Apparently when my aunt visits us, and she goes home, him and his brother get so excited cuz she smells like their first home.
