you know how the appearance of unlit skids are cloaked and all you see is their wing count on their back? what if they flipped it? so that you can see everyone fully colored and dressed, but only when you light them their wing counts are revealed. it'd retain the system of lighting one another to reveal them, but allow the sky world to be populated by colorful denizens of the sky instead of a bunch of depressing hairless ghosts. also it'd mean you can no longer judge people immediately - you won't know if that moth is a true moth until you light em.

I think practically it would be hard to setup, with spirits it’s nice and clear when they are “with” you, whereas do you count whenever friends are in the same server? Specific proximity? What if one is afk?

If you’re talking about expanding the new tree system to unlocking friend emotes, that requires some version of the mechanic where spirits go on an adventure with you since that is how you advance friendship levels without buying everything. But how do you implement that mechanic between players rather than with a spirit?

The best way to teach is through a combination of explanation and demonstration. That means words and pictures, and the teacher needs to explain what each thing does, and how and why it’s important for whatever you’re learning.
Like say, solving a math problem. Someone could solve it and write out the answer right in front of me, but unless they explain how they got that answer, and why they used those specific things to solve it, it won’t make sense.

I don’t know what help is available for you but I wonder if someone could make a photo guide for common actions you might need to take (navigating the website, operating a call, starting an assignment, whatever it might be). Ideally walk you through it with the guide and then have it there as a reminder each time you need it. I wish that more help was available in the forms that people need to learn

You can leave if you haven't made it to the statue room yet

U start in a new place called Aviary now! You can always switch to “old home” (left of the entrance u enter) if you want. One of the seasons was to “restore the aviary” and it give u a run down of a bunch of guides who set up shop

When you start the game up again you should meet a spirit called the hopeful steward! (Stewie for short).

Then they kinda lead you through quests with other spirits - performance guide for example sets up the hair station in a shop and u walk with both stewie and the guide for a bit? Maybe that’s what you’re remembering?

So theres 2 option to finish spirit tree.

1. Unlock by buying the emotes/items
2. Unlock by gathering friendship point ( cr with em once per day)

SO U SAYING CR OPTION IS NOT MANDATORY FOR QUEST? WE CAN CHOOSE TO SAVE SEASONAL CANDLE BY CR WITH EM? YYYAAAAAA

We can unlock further tree without spending candles by using friendship point, that means it take 4 days (40 points)

That also means i can skip some previous item by waiting 4 days if i want to buy other item further up the tree brain ezplodes

By filling that friendship gauge, you will unlock new levels with new items from the spirit, with a mini-quest at the top

There are 2 ways of filling that gauge:

the usual way, buying items from them with seasonal candles.

The new way, hanging out with them: by selecting an option in their spirit tree, they can accompany you while you play in Sky
After playing for 30 mins with a spirit, your friendship will go up and you’ll be able to dismiss them
You can only bring one spirit per day

Also to answer your question, sometimes skybot reboots itself and will usually come back in a few minutes. If it's something urgent you can ping the mods, but if you just want to make a report about something you can usually wait a few minutes for skybot to come back. If Skybot is down for an extended amount of time though, a mod ping to let us know is fine.

I think the season pass is a really good value this time around. There is such a nice range of versatile cosmetics and cool things like the glasses, antennae, and antlers. (Blue Bird, in contrast, was kinda a disappointment.) Plus, the pass is a good deal if you play daily because you'll wind up collecting way more candles than you'll need, which all get converted to regular candles after the season is over. I made almost 150 candles after the end of the last season, which I have banked away to pay for Days of Mischief items.

a crafting season during which you can gather some rare materials which are going to be the main ingredient for certain cosmetics of past seasons, and in every future season, if u complete it u get main ingredients too

then, after the season of crafting, small events occurring every now and then which can give u one of the common materials (i imagine that being similar to ts like every 2 weeks one specific common material can be gathered and that is random)

and once u have gathered specific materials u can then craft past ults or not returning cosmetics of the recipe

obviously it will have take a lot of grinding and time so that iaps are still the more preferred choice (idk how exactly it works, but sky being a free game, tgc still needs income from smw) but now if u have missed a season that's not returning or you really don't have the money to spare for cosmetics and you don't have or don't wanna burden friends with it, you still get a change to gain the cosmetics you love at some point

Check their tree. On the bottom right of their tree, if it's click-able, it means you can wave goodbye to them and upgrade your friendship level.

okay, i checked and either way works — every item you buy from a node fills up the meter to the next one to some extent, and spending thirty minutes with the spirit does so too, so you can alternate between the two methods to fill up the meter faster or just use one which suits you better (spending thirty minutes each day if you wanna save candles more, or buying the items if you're more concerned about spending too much time playing each day), it's up to you. Whichever method you use, once the meter fills up the next node will get unlocked

i have mixed feelings tbh, i like the idea of being able to get things you want without having to buy stuff underneath it, but it seems like the days you need to hangout with spirits might double over time? like, it's still 30 minutes a day but it took 2 days to unlock level 2 with a spirit, now it looks like 4 days is needed for the level 3? further testing is required

I'm really liking it all. The story has been great so far, great range of cosmetics, and I like being able to spend time with the spirits. The new spirit tree is NOT intuitive, but I like the concept: you can strategically skip ahead to prioritize the cosmetics you want the most first. More or less. All in all, great season. Also the music is really good, and the adorable new reindeer creatures and sleigh echo Christmas vibe.
