To be fair i think farming dyes has a limit also for this reason. So you dont just mindlessly grind it out and burn yourself out, aswell as most cozy games advise the healthy amount of gameplay time 1-2 hours i beleive? But uh, no way a regular person follows those rules (if you do though i commend your ability to not use electronics)

It’s already very burning out having to go to eden a lot of times because black is rare lol I don’t burn out when I need red for example because there’s plenty of them available. The rarity of something that makes the burn out happens

So if the idea of the game is preventing people from playing too much and burning out, making things rare or very limited is getting the opposite result.

Well i mean making something rare and grindable with no limit is usually the bad result, probably again why they put a limit to all the dyes. Since theres really no other reason to put a cap on it. Although Black and White being rarer than the rest is a bit annoying, gameplay wise its a bit of a pain, but when you spot people with all black setups you kinda admire it more due to the time it probably took to get

I do also think though when you focus on it too much it also can lead to burnout. Adding in things that can be excessive into aroutine of somekind could diminish the burn out and you end up doing it anyways with the long term outcome of having the resources. Of course that would take a long time but I feel like we all know that too well trying to farm for like 1,000+ candles or hearts from lighting friends, it kinda takes awhile but its better to not...fully focus on it? Although thats where my brain is at, atleast if i focus too hard on doing something i lose interest.

I collect a little black dye as soon as I log in, then I do my constellation and collect a cake from avairy café

Then I collect the candle at the totem and the daily quests and by that time the next hour has started so I go back to Eden and collect some more then I do my dailies and collect the candles for them and then I start candle run in the realm that's got all the candle cakes until another hourly dye reset and within 4 hours usually I have a full bottle of dye but if not I also visit Golden wasteland and collect dye there as there is usually black butterfly's around •3•

Nikol is my new Skykid, he's a lonely kid, but he does have his parents. But the other Skykids don't like him because he's "weird". So he finds comfort in the Manatees, who just seem to like him and have fun with him. Nikol always brings treats to them and gives them so many belly rubs. Loaf is his pet Manatee, who just so happens to be the Caring Companion.

(I will literally break Sky lore and let Loaf be with him in every realm and his nest if I have to)

Loaf waits for Nikol in the city all the time whenever Nikol is able to visit. He never misses a day with Loaf. Parting ways is very sorrowful because Nikol has to go home and rest from adventuring. But he always keeps Loaf in his heart using his Manatee Plush and his recently bought Manatee Toy prop.

that reminds me of something HILARIOUS that happened like 2 years ago, so this one game on roblox called CTS ||(cursed tank sim, its alright, but i got in a daily cycle and only broke free due to my data being replaced with that of someone i just friended, also you think sky dailys are bad? this is dark souls on at LEAST medium difficulty compared to sky dailys [note that i havent played a souls game yet])|| for me was extremely demanding, like crashing the app upon loading a server demanding sometimes (wasnt when i started, the good ol days- sorry back on topic), so if i knew this were a thing before it happened, i wouldve thought it would happen on CTS because that turned my phone into an OVEN very frequently. so the other game, is Industrialist, which is iirc based on mindustry and factorio. i fell into the void ||(apparently, according to my message in a server about it, also… yikes a comparison i made at that time while talking about it definitely doesnt look good now…)|| and died and [i think] pretty much immediately after got a freaking OVERHEAT WARNING! literally first and only time so far (im pretty confident its only happened once so far) in my entire time having this phone, seriously still surprised it didnt happen on CTS

my biggest issue with ai art isn't that people are using ai to make art. I get it, there's cases where you need a nice looking picture but can't make one yourself. My biggest issue is that those same people then go on to claim that the art they made entirely using ai should count as art they made themselves and that they should then be considered on the same level as the artists who spent ages learning art from scratch regardless of talent and put their sweat and tears into their artworks. Some even go as far as to think that they are better than those hard-working artists and go around making fun of them for putting effort into their artwork and ridicule the artwork they made by pointing out how it isn't as good as the art made by ai
