Unfortunately for me, they all live somewhere around the Two Embers/Remembrance time period and one is a nomad stealing from marketplaces to survive and trying to lay low with her manatee and manta friends while the king's soldiers have eyes everywhere, another is a former soldier of the wasteland where he is now trapped who was reborn in the wasteland after sacrificing himself to save his beloved with the power of flame the Descendants have but lost all his memories, another is said beloved who is sheltering in the safety of the Vault waiting for his partner to return, and the other is one of the first spirits who was destroyed by his own resentment over what was happening to light creatures and turned to the side of the darkness (also lurking the wasteland)

No nests or any other modern living for them

so with the body in free fall, the entire body has drag slowing it down, by turning in certain ways you can steer, {°} thats part of the lower half of it, for the upper half, we go into wingsuit things, which is controls for that is aviation related, my specialty somewhat. anyway (kept accidentally hitting the dumb dictation button trying to add a comma , turned that stupid sucker off :D), so wingsuit controlling ||think Yaw [left and right without rolling said direction, for this Yaw can be ignored], Roll [what our skids do to start turning], and Pitch [up and down movement, wont factor in this part as much because its controlled by the lower half]|| works slightly different to an airplane, instead of being a fully solid airframe, its more akin to that of the Goodyear Inflatoplane, which after typing and thinking over it trying to get the next line, its actually a pretty good comparison to wingsuiting as it functions similarly! anyway, controls are only Pitch and Roll (i will lay out xyz axis in a separate message as i just thought of it oops), no Yaw as there isnt a vertical stabilizer on wingsuits (unless one exists, surprises happen), Roll and Pitch work in unison to do what Yaw usually does. how you Roll and Pitch in a wingsuit is with arms and legs, legs together and arms separately. arms control Roll mainly while legs control Pitch, [1/5]

[i would like to preface saying i didnt realize until i was getting close to the point of putting it in that i might not fully grasp how you control Roll in a wingsuit since its a single point at the front instead of what the inflatoplane uses (details on that later), so this is more of a educated guess going off what i understand of aerodynamics and lift stuff] Roll in a wingsuit is done by bringing 1 arm back further than the other, {^} which just like on a swing wing (F-14 has some good example pics, iirc i downloaded one a while ago) if one wing is swept back further than the other, the one more forward has more wing width (from airframe to wingtip) and therefore more lift, while its the opposite for the more swept back wing. an easier way to picture the lift difference is imagine for a second, a plane loses part of 1 wing, lets say half of it, the other wing stays at full length.

for those of you who have played flight sims or such with detailed [enough] flight models and lost either an entire wing, 75%, half, or 25% or so of 1 wing while the other is fully intact, you more than likely understand/will understand what im about to attempt to explain

so with at least 25% of 1 wing missing on an aircraft, that side has less lift, while the opposite wing still is giving the same amount of lift the damaged wing was giving before being damaged, due to the forces not being equal, 1 side starts to drop, and the aircraft rolls, specifically toward the damaged side. {•} in most aircraft, ||i shouldnt be going over this but oh well too late now|| you counter the roll by applying counter stick and rudder (main controls, details later) in the opposite direction the aircraft is trying to roll, for example lets say its the right wing. the aircraft will try to roll to the right, you push the stick to the left and apply left rudder to counter the roll, depending on amount of wing missing [2/5]

[and the aircraft, very specific, an incident will be referenced and details given later] it can be anywhere from relatively easy to borderline if not actually impossible (from about 1-25%, to 100%) to control, for the 2 variables theres options better for 1 than the other: ‘with up to 25% [possibly 50 depending on the aircraft and how the wing left] you will want to try and make it back to base and at least try to land if you can, but with over 50% its honestly just a better idea to punch out [aka eject]’ (note: from the first ‘ to the second, this is only for military. if you are flying civilian, you HAVE to stick with the aircraft and try to land, good luck with the flight with over 25% of the wing missing, especially on a airliner). i was gonna try to talk about aircraft like the B-2 (flying wing, no vertical stabilizer, therefore much more complex), but now that i think about it this is getting long and i probably would lose my mind trying to think of how to solve an issue like that, so we are skipping it as i aint touching it with a 10 foot pole for now, nor do i have time for that. anyway back on topic [beginning of branch off marked with {•} so you can easily skip to here and understand this sorta better, also markers will be implemented as i do this] [3/5]

so back to wingsuit stuff (i will be including a branch marker key at the end, after details. start of swing wing and plane stuff marked with {^}) roll has been talked about (a bit too much might i add ) so now we focus on pitch in a wingsuit (which isnt needed, meh). pitch is somewhat easier to grasp i would think, you just raise your legs up and lower them down to pitch up and down (in other words: to climb or dive). also nevermind the previous comment about Yaw because i remembered a little bit ago i do believe Yaw is still a thing kind of, you just tilt your legs (ie raise left leg and lower the right to go right, and vice versa for the other way). that may not be correct so check [SEVERAL TIMES/SOURCES] before taking as fact. anyway im pretty sure this is almost done, going back to the free fall thingy to give more detail in lower sky kid flight control (which will be more or less a guesstimation based on my aerodynamic understanding, since this is a somewhat pseudo wingsuit skydiving flight system seen in game) for ease of reading, im gonna connect this to the first part, and include a branch marker so you can sort of follow (marker is {°}). so we touched partially on the skydiving control function, but now we put that on its side sorta, connecting it with wingsuit stuff and both being forced to work (ish) in level flight (level meaning horizontal [horizontally moving] in this specific case, instead of flat on the x and y axis like it typically means). so throw the wingsuit pitch and yaw combined thing out the window, because in this weird pseudo system, we removed the fabric between the legs that acts as the lift surface for the “ruddervator” (combined elevator [pitch] with rudder [yaw]). realistically in this weird wingsuit configuration, [4/5]

you would be able to pull out of a dive about as well as a [example i chose for this] very heavily loaded F-111 going straight down at near max speed with full wing sweep, in other words, not very well. sort of bonus however, you can go into a dive pretty easily thanks to having near the aerodynamics of a brick ||(side note: i remember hearing or reading somewhere a pilot quote iirc that the SR-71 in a glide has about the same aerodynamics as a brick, which makes sense when you look at it, wish i could find that and a ww2 story that had a similar source loss for me, back to the topic)||. back to whatever it was [i forgot and i confuzled, wont be in a moment]

so the inflatoplane: how it controlled was quite unique to say the least. it rolled by (iirc, ill find the video later) tilting the wings, pitched up and down by angling the tail surface up or down ||(iirc some crashes were caused by it going too high upward and getting shredded by the propeller which was mounted in a pusher configuration atop the plane, other crash reasons were wings folding due to high g forces, which they also would hit the prop and get torn open iirc)||, and yaw was done by moving the tail left or right, very unique plane, could actually fit entirely in the back of a freaking station wagon (this plane was from the 50s btw). uuuuunnnfortunately this quite cool plane did have some fatal accidents, quite a few actually

also this was supposed to be parachuted to downed airmen so they could fly back to base. yeah uhm not good, very not good when it was thought about using it in this role in vietnam. looks at the loss rates of US [and friendly nation] aircraft to AAA fire

so, summing it up somewhat as i really should be done by now, [iirc] this was a training mission for the Israeli air force, 1 pilot in an A4 Skyhawk, the other in an F-15 Eagle. for short context, the F-15 was built with a lifting body airframe, where the airframe provides lift in addition to the wings (which is important for this incident). so skipping all the run up (cause i dont remember it), the A4 and the F-15 collide mid air, the A4 is absolutely messed up so the pilot ejects, the F-15 LOSES ITS ENTIRE RIGHT FREAKING WING, and keeps flying! the pilot of the Eagle actually did not know they lost the entire wing, and brought the stricken bird back to base for an emergency landing (which there is a picture of it mid landing!) after touching down the pilot only then learns of what absurd piece of history he just had made, in an interview afterward, the pilot said that if they had known that the entire right wing was gone, they would have ejected

sopa is a direct translation of soup, though i guess it's a word that's been used to refer to rice i searched it up and there's a dish called "sopa seca" which is just mexican style rice

Ok found out why it's called like this.
Seems to be part of a cheap 3 course meal:
°The first one is the "sopa aguada" yeah it's soup
°The second one "sopa seca" can be rice or pasta
°And the third one which is the main course normally meat, fish or vegetables

best way i would say for krill dodging is to pretty much notch the krill like its a missile. essentially you start flying away from it, and then go 90 degrees perpendicular to the krill to the left or right (go broadside you could say, or just side on) and hold at least 1 wing charge in reserve, when it charges you need to time it (which mind you, is MUCH easier than a shield block, the timing is easier to get) so that you spend a wing charge to gain speed and just like with notching a missile, the krill cannot turn to follow you

no, learning how to dodge missile helps you in sky
