So I found a trick for farming black dye in Eden area 2:

• don't go the regular route where you walk against the wind - jump oob and fly all the way to the safe house at the end, then go backwards along the same direction as the wind. It's easier to control your movement that way and somehow it's also easier to evade krills going backwards.

You have to grind everything including the masks, the fire pits, the trials, visiting grandma twice, not to mention the little bit of wax you get from dye plants but it is possible

Thats simply incorrect. The campfires have a wax cap at 1000 and idk if dye plants wax is capped but considering just how much itd take for 24 never mind 25. Hell i dont even think 23 is possible in a day (unless you have left over wax from the day before) the little bit of wax from wax plants will not make it up when you need several thousand and have exhausted every other source of wax in the game

Every candle past 20 doubles in the amount of wax needed. Ive forgot how much wax you need for 20 but its why 22 candles alone is really hard bc it just takes so much effort

You can do it on an off season bc the daily candles are totally seperate from realm wax and 21 is very much possible (hence why whenever im on ab 25 candles in context to the devs message im on ab realm wax not with dailys)

But since the new season is here, it's back to 20 Candle Cap

Honestly, personally speaking, I’d say even 20-21 is a little excessive if you’re not doing it in short burst. A day or two here and there is okay, but aiming for 20 daily puts you right on the fast track to burnout.

I’ve found that 15 a day is a good start! Maybe 17 if I feel like going for just a bit longer.

They all sit and drink at the shop. Once we complete all the tasks. The spirits leave. But that's a loss for the shopkeeper who gave them drinks. 😕

i don't think you understand what i mean. beta was previously "open", where anyone in the server could look at the channels and screenshots being posted by beta testers. however that led to beta testing being seen as more of a cosmetic preview, and not actually testing the new updates for bugs

now that beta is "closed", and beta testers are rotated between builds and must sign non-disclosure agreements, we don't get previews. and hopefully that encourages beta testers to focus more on actually testing the game, and not showing off cosmetics they get for free (to be able to test graphical issues before release)

so, as i said. here's hoping the closed beta will cut down on bugs in future builds

Sanctuary and the Reef both get direct sunlight, along with the Isle there also doesn't seem to be any point where the ocean hurts us (except the dock by the broken temple) so perhaps something about it acts as an anti-darkness filter the salt maybe, assuming our oceans have salt

Personally I think that the dark water works similar to light pollution, dimming our lights to a point where we run out of it if we don’t recharge, if that makes sense.

But the fun thing about sky lore is that it can have many interpretations!

It's been many many years since the whole pollution thing went down and there is still a clear difference between the water near the main part of the Wasteland and the area surrounding the reef if the water could just, get polluted, it would be polluted by now

Also maybe one reason why the oceans in sky don’t have pollution is that the water is constantly moving, going in and out of the area, so the pollution is getting like diluted. We see that there is at least some darkness in reef but it might not have as much of an impact as it would in a lake.

Yes, that does bring up the concept of a pacific garbage patch in sky from where the currents collide and the pollution gathers, also I thought the dyes that we were using were like onion skin type dyes not synthetic dyes

The dyes do come from light creatures (the butterflies) being freed from darkness, so does seem better for the sky environment

so, i was ubering this player just a bit earlier and we were on the 4 player door in vault ground level. We were waiting for players and suddenly there were a bunch , no one came for help,i approached them but they still sat. i had to chibi fall. but why when we were already more than enough to open it. Then we went to the next area ,same thing,there was a guy waiting so we were 3. the other 3 were talking and i tried to bring them there but they still sat. Have we forgotten the main goal of the game? To helo each other and be compassionate ?

Sadly, everyone games differently and some just do their thing as if others are not around. But servers have also been strange today and that makes other players merge and separate so that they may not notice. It was happening to me in the Alice Café today. I never take anything to heart on the first Event Day.

I mean I am never upset at players for doing that. I save my upset for other things. It's fine to be a little bummed I feel. But at the same time, I've played a lot of the game solo (aside from Eden, though my first two times were solo and I was so lost).
