Also, by unlocking the Padlocks on their constations you get winged lights!

• some cosmetics can be bought after completing seasonal quests now! most of the seasonal guides are in aviary, which is an upgraded homespace. it's the new portal in between forest and valley
• other cosmetics are bought in "days of" events, they cost tickets when the event is ongoing
  as a returning player myself (stopped 2022, returned this january) i recommend going to the sky wiki and just take your time going through the cosmetics sections to see what you've missed, then search up how to get the ones that pique your interest

yes, that is the point of the game, you are "reborn" and the cycle repeats

the next step is to recollect those wings in the same locations you found them

nope, as long as you have relived enough number of spirits then no areas will be locked

and by the time you will regain the wings, you can go through eden again

I had the same misconception about the locked walls when i began but yeah like enchant said its based on spirits. Not your winged light

if you lost your wings, try looking around in areas where you have collected wing light from before, because each lost wing light respawns randomly at one of the locations you've collected wing light from.

And you can use the map shrines to get a general idea of which area has uncollected wing light

those red candles are used to unlock winglight from spirit. BASICALLY, if you buy many winglights and search the remaining winglights in the open area, you'll have double winglights in your cape.

No AC required to repair them! (Thank god) you just need to visit the respective elder temple and meditate there, or you can repair it by summoning the elder in orbit (makes it really quick after Eden runs & if you broke more than just one)

Yeah, Peaks is probably your best bet. There’s a tiny bit across Prairie, Forest and Valley, but exceedingly little. Especially in Valley.

Wouldn’t it be nice if we could get white dye in, say, the trials? That way it's like black dye in that it's still a challenge to get, but if you're up for the challenge, you can reliably get your hands on it.

2. I have many Skykids...I'll use Reve since I'll be collecting cosmetics to dress as him (he's one of my Sky OCs). I like to imagine a Skykid in the real world becoming as big as a normal person, but the stages (moth, veteran, etc) determine the age group of the Skykid. Reve definitely needs disguises especially since he has cat ears. I'll probably dress him in one of my many hoodies (and hide his sword).

Oh I read a lot of isekai rofan. This came to mind a lot when I started playing Sky.

I would probably just move into the Wind Paths right away. Apprentice under the guide & help Sky kids with their journeys. Oh also definitely would wear a mix of Bookworm, Abyss & Bloom guide cosmetics. Also would have Aurora wings & TLP capes to help moths visit fun places.

My Sky kid is little me. I would adopt her and give her all the things she needs in life. I’m doing my best in game as well. (I think she’s just exhausted from candle running for TLP & Aurora encores rn. Maybe she needs a loooong nap. )

Tol height makes you poke out more of the small rocks so you can get whammed by rocks even while you're trying to hide. There's still good bunches of tall rocks to hide in

Sometimes when you're running through the permarain section of Eden, when you're losing WL, a rock hits that makes time slow down dramatically to emphasize your loss of light, and you fall prone no matter what. It doesn't stop me too much, but it's still annoying...

they'll all reduce the size of your hitbox and make dodging and hiding easier (I learned that very quickly on my second/last Eden run, yes I've only done 2, I am not an Eden runner)

there is a timing to it, and you can listen for when a rockstorm will get heavy by listening for a boom/thunderclap to signal the heavier rain

Krills are scary, but are much less so when you remember that they follow a scripted path. stay still for a short while from a distance, look at their pathing for a few rounds, then go when you have the biggest window for movement
