@lofty current I think that answer hinges on whether or not you have any extra hearts you can buy, or a way to get three hearts before the TS shows up. Only the Level 3 is mandatory if you need to access the higher tiers. The Levels 2 and 4 are on their own branches, so they're completely optional.

Granted, if we get a stance or friend emote, you won't need any hearts at all, so long as you're willing to skip the level 2 friend emote.

There was/possibly is (I forgor if it was still there last year) a friendly Krill in the Cackling Crab during Days of Mischief! You can ride on it, and it'll zoom around the area. Just be warned if you're motion-sensitive, it goes very fast, and turns quickly too.

Ironically, I'm the opposite! Stealth always stresses me out. I don't know why krills and Guardians are so different to me, while meanwhile I found playing The WereCleaner, for instance, an immensely stressful experience.
I'm not really a fancy Guardian-fighter, but I have at least learned my own method to taking them down! I actually cannot parry them for the life of me, so my methodology with them is to get a decently fast horse, circle them and attack their legs until they go down.

Honestly, fair. Krills haven’t been that enemy for me, personally, and I honestly kind of like them on account of being dragons, and really unique ones at that. But I do relate. I have had video game nightmares before.

The closest I’ve come to a krill dream is that time one infiltrated my writing universe purely for the purposes of krilling one of my OCs. (He got better.)

If a game has a parry/counter mechanic, and it feels satisfying to use, you can bet your candles I’m gonna learn how to get good with it. A good parry should have oomph behind it, where you can feel the weight and impact of the blow as it hits your shield. Sound design is also an important aspect of it, not just how it looks and feels. It’s gotta sound good to pull off a parry. Distinct enough to tell you that you got it right, but not so loud as to distract you from the battle.
