I met the nicest individuals in Sky today!! When I was doing the shard, I saw someone honking loudly and big. I thought it was a moth, but decided to finish the shard since no light was being broken. When I went over there, it turns out they were struggling with a dye plant.
I went over to help and we kept doing it back and forth. I just got back from Eden and they helped recharge me. I pointed them in the direction of various dark plants (both dye and normal) that they hadn’t gotten the wax/dye from and we were having a good time.
I had to go last minute so I made sure to friend them both.
I called them Shum and Shar. (Idk why lol)

I hope to see them again soon.

I'm not sure how qualified I am, having played only for four months now, but I do candle runs daily, so I guess here's some thoughts. I'd suggest figuring out a path between candles and dark plants that makes sense for you and flows nicely, and following that on your runs. Many people utilize wind paths to get to different realms. I'd also personally not recommend going till 20, the last candles take exponentially more wax so it's not too time efficient. I personally do around 15 a day

Keep in mind, forest and wasteland main areas (except for forest brook) have differing darkness plant locations depending on the day btw!

• Wasteland has the most wax iirc if you’re confident.
• Forest is my favorite place to CR.
• Valley races and the harmony hall minigame net pretty good wax per day
• Please please, in Vault, do not leave people behinf waitinf for doors via chibi clipping. Vault does net good amounts of wax though thanks to the candle cakes
• There’s also wax events like geyser, grandma, and turtle! They net good wax. Geyser and Grandma can be visited twice before the max wax you gain from them maxes out. Turtle is only one with the clams. There should be a schedule here somewhere.

They are quite inefficient in terms of effort, only do them if you enjoy grinding

yeah black dye is in wasteland. it's not that bad though, and i say this as someone who hates spending time in wasteland and is scared of krills
(also, unless something changed vaguely recently, deep honking doesn't attract krills)
