If it helps encourage you, sometimes you need to kind of break down that one little obstacle to get a full-force flow of ideas. It's like a load-bearing writer's block or something. Take that one out, and the rest follows.

I find it far more efficient to collect WL passively while I do my CRs during the week, gets me about 170-200 WL before I go back into Eden

I doubt there’s a pin that lets you see others chats. Hackers pretty regularly are able to see chats and offer friend emotes to non-friends but I’ve read through most of the Star pins special features along with having several products and usually they just give special items as spells, maybe let you offer one specific emote to a non-friend, or let you warp to its location

in the shop tab in your settings menu, if you scroll to the end there should be an option to 'restore purchases'. This checks for any purchases made that you didn't receive and might hopefully fix your problem :)

all i know is that my friend who went capeless avoided valley bc the automatic wls scared her and it was a pain not being able to fly

So some thoughts after playing as a capeless skid for few weeks..

Pros

• looks cool. Sometimes other skids come by to check you out like hey little guy did you not do puberty?
• are immortal. Nothing can kill you and you can fall asleep literally anywhere; under the forest rain, in the middle of the krill nest, or even at the bottom of the ocean
• chill play through. Since so much of the game is either difficult or impossible to access for you, you just lay down your completion obsession and just stroll through the game carefree, which is probably how the game was meant to be enjoyed to begin with

Cons

• can’t do any of the actual sky stuff in a Sky game. I mean you can get creative with clouds to get where you need to but it’s still a drag
• can’t finish certain quest lines - like the 4th steward quest - because you can’t go to Eden. Also you can’t go to Eden on account of gaining unwanted wl
• you can’t go to the valley either because you might accidentally pick up a wl. I mean you can still go and be careful but I’d rather not take any chances. But then you have a perfectly immersion friendly reason for not going to the valley (it’s just too cold there without a cape!) edit: you can't go to windpath either for the same reason. you could be careful but you never know
• you’re immortal so you casually hurl yourself into harms way but some well-meaning skids still try to save you. You’d like to tell them No Save Yourselves!! but all you can do is yammer on in your default honk because this game is stupid like that
