my best tip for getting the full 15.75 AC from Eden is going in with around 120-150 wl so you have a buffer for the constant rain at the end, and practice timing with the rock rain so you can move when it’s calmest. Audio cues have always been my best friend there, it also helps when you do memorise all the statue locations so you can efficiently run through, but that’s what I’ve learnt from over a year of weekly Eden

@jemj.sokai I should try unmuting the game during ers then. I always turn it off when I’m at Eden, since the sfx for losing wl irritates me. I’m okay with it but if I hear it too many times in just a few seconds Good thing I have the map memorized now. I’ve noticed the shards are more agressive these days now. I haven’t er for more than a month so, idk if it changed.

I think from lore discussions I learned it's to harvest the souls passing through eden, and since soul is light in this game it's pretty much what you said!

I also know from reading the art of sky lore that it checks out too, the cycle of rebirth was always a thing but the elder used it to harvest power, presumably for something positive originally and it became corrupt down the line

well, by long term goal it does seem to become an endgame only benefit. Ac and candles and hearts are so so important to newer players that spending them on nest items hinders other progress significantly, so you do have to choose essentially which is more important i think.
But I do agree it’s an opportunity to be creative!

• Forest is the best place to CR imo. Lots of wax! Plus grandma!
• Vault is nice to cr especially when it has the daily candle cakes. It's not as annoying now especially with the cutscene autoskip thing. Has plenty of candle cakes on the main areas. Only problem are the four player doors sadly if you're especially unlucky
• Valley is not too bad especially with the extra wax from the harmony hall minigame and the races. Also mmmmmmm valley temple wax not bad either.
• Prairie main areas are okay imo, 8 player area has plenty of wax but waiting pain, sanctuary has plenty of yummy wax to run around and get for a single area, plus there's geyser and sunset. You could cr sanctuary before or after either wax events. Win!
• Isle, if you're brave enough you could do also trials for wax if you're experienced enough. Air and Fire have four candle cakes each while water and earth have two candle cakes each. Otherwise, not as much wax as the other realms.
• Wasteland.
• Why would you go through eden and into orbit for the sole reason of wax.

It's not just that, I just hate playing games too, it's why I'm so nitpicky with what I like to play. I prefer tycoon, creation, or super long story games like rpg's and stuff, I absolutely HATE "one play" games because they feel like a waste of money for me (my family was and still is EXTREMELY stingy with money, my grandpas trying to loosen that mentality for things like if I'm trying something new but it's not getting out of my head), I'd KILL to play older games and be able to play them when they released, but I seriously cannot get "this is a waste of money and time" out of my head when it comes to it and because of that mentality I feel like I shouldn't be able to like the games because I wouldn't even like the gameplay itself

And on top of that, 90% of the games I'd like to play, I've watched on youtube because I couldn't play them, so it'd be even more unnecessary because I'd know about everything

I got an Xbox series X, played DMC5 once, and now the Xbox is collecting dust because my family won't pay the subscriptions so I can play with my partner and i just generlt dislike most of the games on xbox, im used to playstation (only cause we used PS for movies and netflix and stuff rather than xbox)

As a crazy FOMO player - is it okay to skip this season?
I don't really like the cosmetics, I'm hoping mischief brings more items that I like more.
I know collab seasons never come back, but after seeing the cosmetics from this season, they don't feel worthy of $10 and the grind to get them all.

I dont like the cosmetics a lot either. I only got the pass for the moonmin cape and the umbrella. If i was you id keep my money for mischief or even for the next pass seeing that the iaps can sometimes cost two season passes lately 💀💀💀💀
