It’s not even bad that’s the thing. Essentially it just works like the old social wax areas where they’d produce light periodically. You get all the tickets from just 5-10 minutes of sitting there in which you can do a few other little tasks irl

i have criticisms myself over a few things for this event, though a lot of folks feel very passionate at the moment and it clouds their perception. i hope they can calm down with the assumptions soon and properly submit their thoughts/feelings later.

such is how the internet works unfortunately. with the industry’s climate it’s only natural for people to be skeptical about any authoritarian group that needs to rely on funding whether it be companies or even kickstarters- hence the memes that plague a lot of consumer spaces.
anonymity also plays a role and can have people be more vocal about their frustrations. the best we can do is simply nudge them to cool down and return with more nuance. also many folks here lack the experience of being in the game industry, assumptions are the bread and butter of game communities lol
see the memes under minecraft’s official posts for example, most top comments are people joking that the developers only spend 40 seconds a week working

but the TLDR is: people often forget and even target those who are real humans behind the scenes, but it’s important to also guide them to better their understanding of how feedback and communication is processed in video games rather than othering them. sometimes they might not change, sometimes they’re young and misled
if it gets too much for you to understand? maybe take a step back. let them handle it and don’t hinder your mental health.

So I checked out the event, and... am I the only one who feels like this is a huge slap in the face? "Here's all these items you permanently missed and/or have to wait two years for!"
Not even the fact that some Flight Ultimates are in the rotation for me right now can sell me on this whole thing. I think I'll pass.

I started playing in January, I have barely enough candles to obtain one item a month, let alone an entire wardrobe. This whole event feels like a mockery.

I do see what you're getting at, but regrettably I'm going to have to disagree with some points on the simple basis of... cosmetics are all there's to do in Sky. You either CR or you sit around bored (or play a different game...).
