Well, from an Americans standpoint (as we don't really have the freshest fruit-)

It kind of depends on the batch and which one you pick, but they're typically a soft texture, kind of a cool watery/refereshing feeling, sort of like a soft textured strawberry but WAY softer (but in a very good way). It's subtly sweet but not unnoticeable, it's not like a sugary kind of sweet, more of like "it tastes like the smell of" sweet if that makes sense. Sometimes they're sour with that sweetness which is what I personally prefer, the sourness mixed with the sweetness is really nice in all honesty, but that might be just because I have a thing for somewhat sour tastes (the good kind of sour, not the 'this food has gone bad' kind of sour)

Once upon a time, there was a girl who often asked her mother of things as she couldn't find the items that were misplaced. One time, she was cooking rice porridge but couldn't find the ladle to stir it with, and in turn burned the porridge. Her mother got angry because the ladle was just there nearby. In anger, the mother shouted at her "Maybe if you grew a lot of eyes, you'd find things better!" The girl ran off crying and disappeared.

The next day, the mother couldn't find her daughter anywhere, only a strange plant growing. Days, weeks, months went by and she couldn't find her daughter. But then, it finds itself scared of the loud noises in the forest, and the brightness of the sun and cold from the rains. It begged for the fairy to turn back its wish, but the fairy was nowhere to be found.

And that is why the cashew nut is found outside its fruit, or the "cashew apple".

It took me several months to get over krills and I had friends who would never step foot in wasteland because of them after their first run-through, I was also absolutely overwhelmed and shaken by the abyss season (to me this shows how well tgc did in making the underwater experience feel immersive, but I still do not enjoy going there alone lol)

I'm okay with krills when my sound is off, but then sometimes I still get jump scared if they come up behind me while I'm flying and I don't hear them target so I'm suddenly being dive bombed 😭

Honestly the scariest thing about Krills for me is the screeching sound they make and metaphorically speaking, the fact that you lose some winged light and it "fragments" you after it hits you is kinda scary. But once you learn how to avoid that, it goes a bit better.

that's not scary. scary is a monster who's pathing you can't predict. one that makes you paranoid. krills don't do that. good sound design alone can't make a creature scary. it has to think and behave like a creature that wants you dead

I think in this instance if you're looking for something like that then it's time to look at another game to play that you'll get those things from, not all games will do the same thing and it's unlikely sky would ever have a hard mode vs easy mode like you said it would be difficult to accommodate in such an mmo

sky can be something people play for one aspect and they can supplement their experience with other games that offer other aspects that they feel is missing from sky - that's what I do
