Kind of off topic but I for some reason feel like it's related in some way
Where I live, Midwest, you need to be loud both figuratively (as in speaking out) and literally (volume wise) to be heard, it's a landlocked state and there's lots of loud sounds around, not big-major city, but there's a lot of factories intertwined with my town. So when I visited my partner, on the coast where it's SOO much quieter in their "my state is a fourth of the size of yours" home /hj, I, naturally, got used to being loud
We were at the public pool and there were two people in a corner staring at us, and my partner got really nervous about it, saying "hey, they're staring at us". I had very bad anger issues, so I got used to not causing a scene, but being the scene, so I just stared at them and said "so?" A few minutes later the lady was like "you know you two are being loud right now"
I quieted down for about 10 minutes before getting louder than before
plus youre at a public pool theres kids around of course it's gonna be loud 😭

They're super valuable, but there's a limited amount of things you can spend them on. They're most commonly used for wing buffs, which can cost as little as 1 ascended candle each. Having more wings also makes it so you can earn more ascended candles in Eden because you should be able to make it farther and give more light to statues

This led to me gutting my room, replacing my sheets, tossing my blanket down the laundry chute, cleaning the litter boxes, doing the dishes, feeding the dogs, cleaning some of the food out from the fridge, and taking a deep clean shower

late as heck but i had to look this up upcoming events are sunlight which starts soon, then the new moonlight one in early september, style in early october. apparently we have a date for the shattering group now! that'll be from sept 16 to sept 29th. hopefully we'll also be getting mischief around halloween.
igc capes are some towel ones with sunlight, and mischief has a maple leaf cape for 99 (we don't know the candle prices for the towels, they were for tickets last year)
we don't know prices yet but there is a jellyfish themed cape, a baby manta themed cape, and a dark plant cape coming with the shattering stuff

One of the dailies today requires you sit in the meditation circle and do an Assembly quest. It requires no other players to complete and involves you flying through a bunch of hoops in Boneyard. You do not have to have completed any other Assembly quests to access it

I'm pretty sure my L2 button didn't have a function before (outside of playing notes on instruments), Sky doesn't really utilize most of the controller.
R1 is the white circle thing, and L1 is to forge everything (candles, hearts, etc.).

Every interact prompt is mapped to □, × is jump and wing flaps, and the analog sticks are self explanatory

The "white circle" thing is your flight toggle button, and if you hold it as you take off it'll put you in flight mode instead of just glide
Otherwise if you flap without it you'll have to press it in the air to go to the next mode, that's what the circle and stance means, your skykid is getting ready to fly

By fly mode I mean the mode that leaves the trail; that's the intended purpose, but most people use it to chibi fall

I find in this game at least, I can chill and help if someone needs it, but I don't feel obligated, nor do I feel guilty if I can't, and on a soet of unrelated note, I don't know about anyone else but I love that the chat is locked behind candles, not a lot of them, but enough that you need to play a bit to get the feature. You can still chat, but you gotta make the effort, get wax, or sit at a bench/table/chair or both. To me, it was a way of showing me that I can take this game at my own pace, there's no pressure. It really helped me when I first started.

The only thing I didn't like, and this is in hindsight, was that I started playing near the end of the Little Prince. I loved the original story, although I haven't read it in quite a bit now, and I loved what I experienced when I was able to start the season. I don't know if the Little Prince is my absolute fav, but its up there. It's one of my favs for sure, even though I was unable to start from the beginning or finish it entirely. But I also loved Flight, partly because it was my first full season. I did the whole thing, was there when it began, got the pass and a couple for friends, and did it 100%. I've honestly loved everyone in different ways so far. Can't say anything about the ones I missed, but I'll be playing soon.

I can say with certainty that the Season of Aurora was the one that stayed with me the most. I went to so many of the concerts, during the season and definitely after the season ended. Went so many times, but something about it, can't quite describe the feeling but the music, all the people there, the togetherness, and the ending as well. Just amazing and it was something I really needed at the time too. Not counting the hiatus's I took, this September or October it'll be 3 years I wanna say. Can't recall exactly, but I'm certain it's at least 2. I wish I could confirm, but I replaced my Switch some time ago, and I don't think it keeps track between consoles.

I tried to be chibi for a while, I kept getting frustrated with how short I was lol. I like being taller, found a way to trick the game with the size potions too.

If anyone is at all curious, use the potion that turns you to a baby for 10 minutes, then while that's active you use the permanent rezie potion that you buy with AC, when I did it I got tall quickly. I think you do the opposite if you want to be short too. You don't want to cancel either potion though, from what I tested, it doesn't work if you don't let it run out naturally. If you cancel it, the permanent resize potion won't work. Btw, does anyone know when Little Prince started? 2022 or 2023 or before that?

My favorite is assembly or little prince! They were both great and I loved the stories!

My least favorite has been passage, it was when I took a break and I missed the seasonal pass because I couldn't afford it! It was my first seasonal pass I missed (not including assembly because I was moff)

Duets? It's great so far! I love how they teach how to play music so you know how to play! I wish one of the grand pianos was free because it's so nice! Also I wish there were free music sheets for newer players to learn!

And out of all the seasons, I'd say Aurora is my absolute favorite. First time I experienced a concert, in any capacity. This being a concert I could go to and enjoy, not irl lol. Music was beautiful. And it was wonderful for my first time. I don't know if I have a least fav out of all of them. I honestly can't say, I think I've just spent too much time away to remember most seasons. Plus I haven't been on for any of the newer ones.

I found out I have a feather on Genshin with 48.2% crit value I knew it was good, but holy hell that is good.

…it used to serve no purpose other than a design feature, then they put dailies there instead rather than having them from the season or off-season guide so that they could allow for teleporting to the season area directly from home space.

My take is that if TGC is cool, they'll grant Traveling Spirit item access through the new Trust system. If they're a little less cool it'll spit out hearts. If they're boring it just spits out regular Candles.

(if they're awesome they'll also let us do quests for season guides. Would be cool to help out around the Wind Paths to keep those air currents flowing smoothly and get those bells where they gotta go.)

Just give it time and let it settle in for a bit, eh? You get to help out all the Spirits around the realms now, and I think that rules. They actually do stuff besides just sit there and be sad lumps of rock waiting for you to poke them so they can tell you about the time they nearly crushed someone with a tree for the 250th time.

I think it could be a great way to rework how returning spirits work. Like “Hey, thanks for completing x amount of daily quests from me! You can buy some of my cosmetics if you like,” would be really nice, especially if they offer that option to buy from them at any time, or just when they pop around by the cafe again for dailies.

Mmhm. Do me a few favors and I'll teach you some of these things I bring with me sometimes. No more TS anxiety, extra incentive to do and care about dailies, and a much less restrictive and asphyxiating timeframe to gather up and grab their stuff.

Bonus points if we get a menu that lets us drag the Spirits around on adventures. Even more bonus points if we can call up multiple of them. I WILL pose with the Flight crew.

Course, I don't work at TGC. Take my hopes and dreams as just that.
