there is many ways it can be improved, the fact that the current system is flawed is a pretty commonly shared opinion
it has been mentioned before that tgc wants to look into making spirits more accessible in some form considering the ever growing pool of available ones, but sadly there hasn't been much news about it

I'll be honest when i learned how TSes work i almost reacted like this too
The idea that some cosmetics are arbitrarily gonna be inaccessible for multiple years left a really sour taste in my mouth (and still does)

It might be an intentional way of letting moths catch up and giving more established players a break to restock their candle-coffers. The only real way to fix people getting mad about TS is to make them visit more often.

Maybe. But at the same time, it leaves a bunch of other spirits out of the loop. Like I’m still waiting to finish my music sheets, and it’s been two years since the likes of Dismiss. It’s a little bit exasperating at times.

Speaking of group ts idk why sky doesn't make them more frequent, they may be costly but at least players are able to knock out more at a time and have variety from seasons, they should come every two months or three months at most tbh

I think part of the purpose of the TS shop is to keep you playing. If you could get everything you want immediately, that's enough for some people to feel fulfilled and quit the game until a new season starts that they're interested in.

On the other hand, TS groups are brutal if all of the spirits are new for you. There would definitely be growing pains and that would likely cause some backlash despite it technically being good for spirits to cycle through faster.

That's why i recommend to skip the last 2 candles when you hate grind but still want many candles
Because the last two candles are really insanely expensive
19th is 2x the cost of 18th, 20th is 2x the cost of 19th
You can check the wiki's daily light page for more detail
But yeah 20th candle costing the amount of wax of 2 grandma visits is ouch and i think not worth if you dislike grind

many people are new in sky especially after the pc release and i can imagine how some of them might want cosmetics that were around recently, they have to wait like insane amount of time, so people are waiting and waiting. time passes and for some of them cosmetics theyre waiting for is the only reason to play, and when they get it, the whole interest to game dissapears. and it shouldnt be like that. i really love that tgc tries to return different traveling spirits and make everyone happy, but why do i have to wait more than a year for my wanted hair or some other item?

It’s good to know things are in development, but just because sky may have it better than other games doesn’t mean sky can’t be critiqued. It’s what helps build a better game and why we have beta and feed back channels

more frequent returns are still better so they can cycle through past TS quicker tbh
and the way they handled them were fantastic imo
put in at least 1 new ts that old players haven't seen yet so they can get a buff, put in some older spirits who hadn't returned so newer or 1 yr players have something to get
good balance all round

but I still think people complained because the cadence of return was too fast and it was like I DON'T HAVE THE CANDLES FOR THIS

I think even if TS groups run the risk of stressing sky kids more and scared about not having enough candles could be having them be frequent so people could feel comfortable skipping. Or while I don’t believe this will happen, make them a bit cheaper/ or make them stay for longer as I think TS groups did. Or allow sky kids to earn more candles in a day

Speak for yourself. I lost sleep and got burnout from some of those group visits. I think they would be better in the long run, but players would need to adjust to a faster spirit visit cycle and new players would need to just be ✨ chill ✨ about the amount of spirits they've never seen coming at them.

I think part of the problem is 1. Lack of communication from TGC about what they're planning to do with Traveling/Returning Spirits and 2. Player culture already being structured around rushing to buy everything a spirit offers before it leaves.

My opinion is that with a constantly growing game like this, there's no possible decision tgc can make to have everyone be happy on the ts question forever.

I think that at the end of the day, while this game is cosmetic-focused, it's not about seeing every possible ts in a year or whatever, but about making the best out of what you get. Like, three years to get every ts? That's 12 seasons and three repeats of every event. Are you sure you won't find something you'll like more by then?

I feel like TGC could fix the FOMO issue in the community at least so TS aren’t so stressful anymore. My hot take is that the way work TS is dumb(and just doesn’t help with the unhealthy FOMO in the game), and we should just be able to get the cosmetics whenever after getting the winged light from them (and not have to wait for when they come back next)

I also think there should be a way to get ults again (through a long and patient process so it still is hard to get, but it’s there to ease FOMO)

I hate daily based games especially games like Sky because they tend to prey on the playerbase’s fear of missing out too much. Which I why I think a full rework of how these cosmetics work would be more healthier then keeping things as is

Yes, they stay longer, about 1 to 2 weeks I think. Depends on the group and the occasion (i.e. a random visit vs. a visit for Days of Music/Color, 3 spirits or 4, etc.)

Hackers usually can only mess with the friendship tree and light/unlight you without you actually lighting them, see what you're typing and hug you and stuff without being friended

They probably had the little figure prop down somewhere, that if you click it says "dress like this?" But it won't work if you don't have all the cosmetics on the figurine

So arc 3, Serena and Daímonas are about 32 and 34

mine have fixed ages but they have self-insert counterparts in universes my favourite games are in and they're like. milions of years old

like this lil guy's 17 in the default universe but at least 500 in the self-insert counterpart

i got a few ocs written right now. My main character (also my sky avatar) Eclipse, Pearl (Eclipse's mother), Pale Wayfarer (Eclipse's father), Dawn Eclipse's friend, Stolas (workshopping the name it still) Eclipse and Dawn's caretaker
