Tbh if anything I love when they make spots where it's easy to earn wax by just standing there, but also encourage you to stay in the game while also being able to easily socialize with people. Interesting fact about myself in Sky, I actually am very proud of my flying abilities, I couldn't really compare to others often during normal Sky sessions but I quickly learned during tournament that I fly very well actually, I've never been proud of myself before, It's a good feeling. :3

This should be a homophone. But if the word < 歪果仁 > gets translated, it becomes < Crooked person > or < Crooked Yankee > 😭

I'm honestly thinking about stopping playing permanently. The number of bugs and the lack of interest on the part of the company is a joke, completely disheartening. And don't give me the excuse that you got sick after the birthday event. There have been horrible bugs that have been disrupting the game long before this, so there's no such thing as a lame excuse. We have lives outside of the game too, and we get sick too, but we can't use that excuse when we lose something in the game because you don't care. It's nice for you to arrive at the anniversary event and record videos and put them on the screen saying how much you care about the community, but the practice is very different. With each passing day, more and more bugs appear that seriously affect the gameplay. We don't just pay for the game with money buying passes and items, we pay with our time too. And, well, as they say, time is money. We joined the game to relax after an exhausting day, play, see some friends and ended up even more frustrated with all this stuff. What it seems is that you were very interested in making the animated series and the collaborative seasons, that the money is coming in very well now, and you no longer care about the players or their experience in the game. We have become a secondary thing.

• the devs care a lot more than a lot of other game companies. Trust me I've seen some pretty bad ones

• Time is money, you're correct on that, that's why they have boosted the candle running system. It used to be having to run every single map without missing a single candle for a full run. Now there's geyser, grandma, candle events, and lots of stuff helping you around.

• They still care a lot for the players, they're doing a bunch of events currently for the players.

• TGC isn't that huge, I'm not for sure how large their debugging team is, but that's why a lot of games rely on players reporting bugs. They will get fixed eventually, I don't know a game company who puts out more hotfixes tbh. They are doing what they can, I don't see what all the hate is for. - a 5 year old vet

• edit: yes if you experience burn-out. Take a break.

Just as it's my choice to want players to be respected and to deliver a good game and experience. After all, we don't find bundles of money on the street. And you're not the only one who plays other games or is a veteran here. There comes a time when we need to stop patting companies on the shoulder that deliver bad services and demand our rights. They are what they are because of the players, they grew as much as they grew because of the players. And grandma doesn't even work. Do you even look at the reported bugs section? It seems not. There are several reports, including from friends of mine, who enter the game and are unable to collect any wax from the candles, without having even played that day. But, yeah, keep thinking that the capitalist company is doing everything it can to fix the game, if that makes you happy. It's good for their pockets.

they just have a lot of priorities to juggle and often times it's a matter of like, if it doesn't break the game too much, they simply did not have the time to hotfix it like they backend fixed the second duets quest from breaking

so things like gramma being broken isn't something game breaking because there's plenty of other ways to earn wax in the game since turtle is back and you can still hit up geyser

How long have you been playing? Have you ever seen this number of bugs at the same time and this delay in fixing them? No, because it never existed.

everything in beta can be wiped from your acc
getting things for 'free' is just for testing purposes. You could have an item then it vanishes from your inventory the next build and that's normal
it could reappear as a different bundle pack but since you 'received' the item, you can't get the rest of the items bundled with it anymore
there is no compensation in beta so once that's gone, that's it
things break in beta
there's also been currency resets in beta across the board

beta testing is not for item collection.

I play in the beta too and most of the people I know there play exactly to collect, not to test. They left the global version aside because they can have the free items and use a hack for cr and everything. I could go down that easy path too if I wanted, but I like the game and supporting its development without cheating. What I would like, in return, is for them to commit to fixing the bugs. And I have the right as someone who consumes and spends money there. We all have the right to complain. This is not "hate", as the little friend there said. It is a right.

idk you haven't been here at the time of black screens unable to see anything for android/switch during TLP/flight ish era?
the delay in fixing is due to nintendo switch update scheduling, and they are only allowed one hotfix a year
and it could be a core server related issue that is something that has to be included with the next patch rather than adjusting it for select platforms -> would not make it fair to players who can only play on switch.

so ultimately if a fix were to be added in, it would be in 0.26.5

My reports, both in beta and global, never resulted in anything. Even if I sent prints by email. This week a random guy I lighted asked for a hug without us being friendly. These things keep happening and very few actually get banned. This is also quite discouraging. We spent from one to almost three hours actually playing.

I unlocked the chat with them and said hi wattup. they said they're not interested in socializing so i went away. i saw them at home, not sure if they tped to me or we just spawned on same server. they approached and honked at me and i dunno what to do since they said they're not interested in socializing. so i just walked away... gah...

As I said, if you are satisfied with your experience, that's great. I am not and I have the right to express this. I didn't offend anyone. If you had read what I wrote, you would know that I already reported the errors. The game is not a physical person for you to feel so offended when others say that it is not good and that it is full of bugs. And just so you know, the game was also a safe place for me. It's no longer the case, so I'm not going to act blind. During the pandemic, the game helped me connect with people from all over the world and not go crazy or have such severe anxiety attacks. But the gaming experience is no longer the same. If everyone is susceptible to feeling frustrated with the game, as you said, then it's not my dissatisfaction that's going to change new players' minds, it's their experience in the game with the amount of bugs.

And also, "best gaming community" huh? Anyone who feels frustrated by the bad experience will be attacked in defense of a company making money, which is what they like.

I can play! but sometimes the game won't work properly. Beta is indeed full of bugs huhu, that's because it's a testing ground for new content and it's normal for bugs to appear!

I'm surprised by how well Sky runs on my old 2021 phone. Like, it was low end for its time, but I'm getting a consistent 30 fps (outside of large areas like the coliseum or the Aviary, they make it lag a bit)
it's not much, but it's downright playable.

i have a real fat real bulky son (qosmio gaming laptop) n he passes every requirement except the vulkan one, cus i run on DX11

Plus, he's vulkanphobic (i looked in the steam hardware thingy it says it dont support avx thingy i think thats the vulkan stuff idk im not rly good w pcs)

Supplying a separate DirectX version would probably be ideal, but also that wouldn't be an easy change. Especially since, unlike DirectX to Vulkan, there aren't any already-made wrappers to swap from Vulkan to DirectX.

If you live in California, it can go very high, i think. Here in France, my studio-sized appartment is around 400$, with furniture included, and i consider that quite cheap (and very small)
