follow-up from alex wanting to settle legal stuff yesterday only to realise the appointment was the next day

i went to old school for transfer stuff or something, had to sign and stuff. met some old friends who continued enrolling there and got hit with nostalgia. like it's been like 3 months since i went there but the muscle memory is still intact. i always hated going there even before the bullying but like man.

It's going to vary from person to person and depending on which anniversary boxes you're deciding on.

I did not buy every anniversary box and have been very picky about the ones I did get. Focusing on the ones that are not just pins. I definitely enjoyed the items I got. The quality of the items were better than I thought they were going to be. The box, presentation, the soft touch material they use is nice and feels luxurious lol.

Is it worth it? This is difficult to answer even as someone who liked the items. They were very expensive. It helps that these items take a while to ship. By the time the item arrives, you've forgotten how much you've actually paid for it (unless your a wiki editor incharge of the thatskyshop pages lol). I was only willing to pay the price because it was in my budget. If there were more new Nintendo Switch games that I wanted to play, I would have chosen those games instead of the boxes. But, those are my priorities!

Not sure what items stay after the season, I assume the stuff behind the concert stage stays but will need way more gringing. But cosmetics directly from the Pianist and Cellist (not the mannequins) you'll have to wait for them as Travelling Spirits.

It's actually not that huge of a problem. There's a natural decay of participation since day 1 of the tournament. Plus a positive and negative feedback loop of forest players probably being more consistent than prairie because prairie players are feeling demoralized.

The issue lies with the fact that we only see the final gold/silver/bronze results. If more players understood and saw how close the actual points were!!

If I have any cute Tournament story to share, earlier this week I had piggybacking rivals in a race I struggle with most (void or cloud collect, I think it was void).

To my surprise, I did better than expected and got a gold. But the most pleasant surprise of all...

Is that the piggybacking players were Team Forest. They were adorably sportsmanly, popping confetti, doing the gloat emote, and even shooting fireworks.

I was so humbled...

Because me a valley player, I was so exhausted from this event for the first 4 days and struggled, and now I'm easily winning gold and silvers.

When you fly with piggyback, the physics is a bit different, it's something you kinda need to get used to. Also piggies do not collect lights, so it's definitely a bronze for the topping, for races it's different, but you can also sort of miss checkpoints if driver doesn't know what they're doing.
At least from what I've tested

I recommend charging mid-jump.

When you jump and charge, no friction is there to limit the distance your little creb legs can take you, compared to when you do it on the ground. I recommend doing this during the slope downwards, so that you get a COMICALLY big boost and absolutely DASH to the bottom in like two seconds.

Tap the jump button once, and when ur creb is in the air, hold for the charge. Nyooooom

I'm coming up on 4 years of playing, and I have all of basegame complete (t2 capes and elder masks included) and majority of TS, with some missing because of my hiatus at the end of 2022 and budgeting at times. The AC is probably the most time investment, since you need to do weekly maxing out Eden for all statues (15.75 AC total) and hit up every/most red shards. I candle run pretty on/off depending on what I know is coming up, right now I go for 18 candles a day since it isn't very taxing compared to 20 candles.

Just have fun though and don't pressure yourself to grind, only do what you can

Defragmenting the hard-drive is only beneficial if you're using a HDD - if you're on an SSD, there's no benefit and it also can reduce the hard-disk's lifespan.

yep! Eden resets once a week with Sunday reset, you can use !er here to check when it resets in your timezone. Each time it resets, the 63 statues in PNR refresh and you can give winged light to them again when you venture forth into there. For every statue you "save" you get 0.25 AC added to your reward, hence 15.75 AC maximum, which you probably know that you're given at the end before you rebirth from Orbit.

Some moths are really quick to friend people. Several times I light a player, it's a moth, and they immediately offer me a friend candle, literally as soon as we're both visible. Idk if they see a cool outfit and go "oh, friend!" or if they don't realize how valuable candles are yet and want to be friends with everyone
Meanwhile I can meet veterans at geyser or grandma and vibe the entire time dancing and emoting together, but never end up friending them. It's an interesting contrast

however, the absolute most reliable method in my opinion is talking in the chats and getting to know people a lil, and then asking the friends you make that way if they wanna add you on sky. however this can take a longer time than #looking-for-group-live

Also, did you know there's an alternate way to get to Forest through Prarie? As well as some secret benches in the Prarie Temple
You're able to go through the "exit" to Forest if you do it right and you'll get on top of the area, there's a handful of benches and a really long cloud path down which I think is a scrapped concept of getting to Forest (as you can still get to Forest by going down it)
