To avoid that bug in Vault, don't skip the cutscene at the end of the Amalga-manta floor, that's what's been working for me.

Yeah I saw someone say that it's caused by skipping the cutscene too quickly. I'm a nightmare for skipping the cutscenes the moment they start, so that tracked. Since I read that I've stopped skipping the cutscene completely (just to be safe) and it's not happened since.

Might be anecdotal or coincidental, but so far so good. Hopefully it helps you too!

i had a HUNCH to what the song was, and i'm honestly kinda amazed i recognised it, i haven't listened to it in like. 6 years. they were playing the vocaloid song Paper Plane. that song is from 2009

Every time I go into the Harmony Hall to try out an instrument or a song, it's just an absolute cacophony of expressions and people rolling their faces on the instruments.

The one time I went in and it was peaceful, I got 30 seconds on the Xylophone before someone came over and started using it at the same time as me.

It's an interesting place to sit and watch/listen to people though, for sure.

So, I helped someone else solve a puzzle and it was a genuinely great experience for me, It was the one where you're supposed to call butterflies to get to the top of the floating island. (Don't know the name but it's the island near the first temple on the right side.)

Do you mean why you can't see spirits in the constellation whose memories you have relived?
If yes, you have to meditate at their temple first to have them in your constellation

Just to retype what I said before:
It puts me at ease to know that an active vet says this. It makes me feel like the choice I made quitting sky from burnout of events was the right thing for me to do for my mental health.
I pray that one day the currency system can be reworked better so that ppl don’t have to struggle at all. No afking at campfires, no absolute grinding for an hour minimum. Just a game of socializing to connect with a currency you get to express yourself and bond with friends.

So sorry for the text wall.
Anyone who still enjoys sky, I’m glad they can! I love that the sky community still has so many passionate players and that the game forges bonds for people.

I agree, i don't even want to play the game anymore cause all the things I want are either iaps or very expensive and needs days of grinding, i experience so much burnout from just focusing on candle running everyday

If there was a way we could get candle wax from spending time with each other, that would encourage others to hang out together.. but also give more opportunity for people who try to socialize to be able to express themselves more by getting candle wax to get more accessories with IGC purchases

Man i wish that we would atleast get something from sitting in the chatting benches or doing 2+ player things like the 8 player vault or season of assembly quests, it'll motivate alot of people more since i want to socialize more however nobody takes the chatting benches nor puts down props to actually do chat (with a few exceptions ofc)

i just wish the currency focused more on helping other people instead of well, focusing on your own terms, and doing this can even give rarely used features like the spirit guide feature other uses

On the subject of socializing, I find myself trying to break the ice while CRing with the triple events (Geyser, Grandma,Turtle). I catch myself trying to emote play, whip out my instrument, or even do something random like knocking a crab and bringing it over as a joke. I find that it works in warming up to people while grabbing candles 😁

Random Sky idea: Gardening. Buy seeds/fertilizer with candles. Place pots in our nest (or new area in Aviary for gardening). Gotta remember to water it daily. Yields fat candle points. 1% chance that seed will give a heart instead. Aside from that, event will give us daily to go water plants/flowers in different realms.

there is something else actually, which i ended up learning last year. which is that sometimes, nobody did anything wrong, and nobody dislikes each other, but you drift apart anyway. one day you see them less and less and before you know it theyre never online. that happened to my first sky friend group and i was really sad, but its important i think to remember you cant keep anyone forever. we all have our own lives and sometimes they intersect and when they do it's beautiful, but we all have different minds and paths and sometimes they veer apart and stop crossing, and im sure it makes everyone sad, but it's just a part of growing sometimes

If I had to pick one, Respectful Pianist’s or Troupe Greeter’s! Admiring Actor’s is nice, too, but the shape of the mask makes it a lot harder to work with - your skykid’s forehead is exposed with it, you you need very specific hair if you want to maintain the illusion.

Respect and Greeter’s masks, on the other hand, are easy to work with, communicate the birds they’re supposed to be well, and don’t get overshadowed by other cosmetics like Spinning Mentor’s quail mask.

My main issue with Thoughtful Director’s is, it kind of has a really odd shape (which comes with the added inconvenience of clipping a fair bit), and it’s hard to tell what kind of bird it actually is. Maybe an owl? Who knows? (Or should I say hoo knows)
