That's kind of a funny story all on its own, though. It lasted right through until late the next day, so I spent quite a while fretting that somehow this one virtual concert was too much for my internet to handle and it just broke it outright. Basically spent the whole time playing Skyrim and trying to destress.

It was an issue with my provider, though, which was a relief. And a bit frustrating.

well, the whole fun of sky for me was the exploration aspect. each season adding a new and unique area. now it's just aviary this, aviary that, and there's no escaping it for the newbies. Sky just feels more like something along the lines of Toontown or Club Penguin instead of a fun game based on exploration. Nests just furthered this issue. Do we really want a Flintstone lookin ahh prison cell of a room over a new and unique area that adds something intriguing like lore or new mechanics like Moments and Abyss did?

And genuinely- Sky is a wonderful game to me, Aviary was super refreshing and cool to have back from Light Awaits, as well as Nesting being a really neat expansion to Aviary- with it quite literally being CALLED “Project Aviary” I’m not surprised they want to take more seasons as a means to develop the area further.

Also means they could do a massive set of realm expansions for Sky 1.0

I mean, in the grand scheme of things, there's nothign wrong with the new stuff (although I stand firmly by my statements of the sanrio event being extremely money hungry) it's more of just a preferance thing

I understand that not everybody has enjoyed it, but it was very much one of the biggest asks for years in game to have a space of our own and the way they've incorporated into the game is really nice in my opinion - plus I adore nesting guide and their lil nudge to apprentice of forest elder

This is very true too, each new season will have those who enjoy it and those who would rather have something else, I think it's also natural for people to miss seasons with greater chances for exploration in bigger areas since nesting hasn't expanded a lot for us outside of the workshop and the nest, hopefully next season brings back an aspect of exploration for everybody!

My one hope is that we do get a Two Embers tie in season when it drops, and that it adds a few new areas to explore in every realm

As a Nesting Moth I can't say either way about Aviary or before. I didn't even know there was an older home until the Traveling Spirit glitch where you had to go there. Now I always load in on Old Home and go to Aviary to play.

Funfact, i have a violin irl, it was given by late grandmother when i was 14 because she supported my dreams of me learning to play one

Sadly i lost passion, but i still have the violin, I'm never planning to give it away, i will always keep it because its one of the things that is sendimental to me

Dang, all good choices. I used to play piano, guitar, and bass in rl, so I can kinda freestyle in Sky already lol. I would say guitar was my first intrument I learned, followed by many years of piano~

Yeah playing one ingame insoired me to play it again, but my violin needs alot of fixing, the strings kept getting loose, i have no rosin, the thinnest string is missing since my extra ones broke (that was my fault since idk how to tune them) lastly, i probably need the bow replaces since the hairs keeps breaking down like hairfall

My first is a piano, well, keyboard xD so technically still piano

Cos my first toybas a toddler is those baby piano toys and then started playing on my late grandmother's keyboard when i was around 6-12

Better than nothing lol. I spent most of my years playing classical stuff and reading music sheets, then I started disliking it. That's when I started getting into jazz and learning how to play solos. After some music theory classes, I can kinda freestyle a little bit now lol

I do know how to play the violin, like the basics, how to hold a bow and play

But idk how to make music out of it, besides making creaking door noises and horribly played canon in D chorus

But I do aspire to play some tracks in game.

I nearly got Temple of Time fully on point (need a few tweaks). Then gave Lugia's Song a try. Then tried Gristol Malike/Grulovia theme from Psychonauts. Then learned Swan Lake more convincingly. I'm getting there ^_^

If muting the bgm doesn't fix your instrument notes changing tune then maybe report that, but notes changing with bgm is normal because it's essentially to match the pitch of the song playing when you use music sheets and the sheets are linked to bgm

normally im a nutcase that goes solo! but it's so much more meaningful with friends and im always happy to protect moths too, even if it puts me in harm's way. one friend i have remembers me for being the one to follow him through the entirety of eden for his first time and that means SO MUCH TO ME

on three occasions now ive also taken hits from krill in place of other players, but i do that outside eden too. it's not fair to folks with much less wings to be taken out like that before even reaching the point of no return when i have an elder mask and plenty of light to shed and be okay

i like to help in the "will fly right at a threat's face while you get away" way in sky

and ive defs said this before but unless a server split causes a krill to lock on twice, they can only strike one player before pulling upward and resuming their patrol path

oh and we encountered a bug that sent us into the freakin stratosphere upon turning into statues and got prompted with "move on alone", but miraculously we were able to rejoin in the apotheosis section

i think i made a good move unlocking warp for us just before all that so we actually could join back up with how far apart we ended up upon moving forward

not even sure how to report that one

It took me a couple weeks to get out of my winter vibes once summer hit, my grandpa usually will have the house in the 60s during winter time (idk why but it makes sense somehow lol)
Augh I loved the blizzard that happened last winter, I know that people were snowed in and lots of places were closed, but like my state/town managed to work together without talking to one another. There were barely any cars out but the cars were (usually) dusted off and working, and places that were open seemed to do alright, it had an amazing cozy silent hill esque kinda fog where you could see far away(like you could see a house from a couple blocks) but there was still a tiny bit of mystery. I have sensitive eyes so sunlight hurts but I was so comfortable at night and in the day, it was such a pretty time. I know it's not inherently good to want things like that, but I half want it to happen again this winter

( I'd like to argue that limited cosmetics are actually positive for not just the game health but player health, yes they can cause some burn outs due to unhealthy obsession and yes people in the future may feel annoyed they weren't there to get the item but! Those people who did get the cosmetics have something that reminds them of the time that they were there... that they existed at that point in time in the game's history. Ut also makes new players feel better to get something special that not everyone has, it's a weird and rather unfair way of thinking but that's just how people are... If limited items were made not limited, then even if the cost of obtaining such an item were to be placed at a ludicrously high bar, it would actually not only weaken the sense of attachment many old players have to the game but it would also cause many new players to do possibly incredibly stupid things to obtain such items. Not to mention the effect of 'hey you were here when I was here' when one player sees another player with an ult from the same season, becomes completely non-existent because the certainty and comradery from the time marker that ults and or certain IAPs are... will be gone)

I know blizzards are usually a bad thing but even my grandpa agreed that that blizzard was pretty good, there weren't any accidents or issues or anything from what we heard, just a few snowed in vehicles and icy roads that weren't uses much (there was so much snow that there were people on snowmobiles, it was so cool to see)
Like, we'd have the radio on in the truck and we'd never hear anything about an accident or road block ups or anything, my state (inner state, idk about the outskirts) I think just kinda knew when they would be able to leave the house to get things.
