It is a problem from a game design standpoint, with older players having so many candles - maybe it's why TGC has supposedly said that the prices would be higher if the number of candles per day was too. In fact, it's a problem irl too (inflation), but that's a completely different can of worms at the same time.
The thing is, the current solution of having overpriced props is more of a problem for newer players - and, especially with the recent PC port, alienating new players is by far the worse choice here.

But Personally what i have anger with is how many players burn themselves out trying to grind, how many players get their experience ruined by FOMO, how many players act rude in the name of efficient farming
The game is creating all these issues with the direction it's taking, and it hurts seeing such a beautiful game suffer like this
The game is also growing more and more unwelcoming towards new players with its bonkers pricings and broken TS system
Accessibility and proper information are still issues that have yet to be adressed too

this right here, it's not really a case of black-and-white loving or hating the game entirely. there are aspects we appreciate and the aspects we don't. sky's a comfort game for a lot of people and seeing your comfort game slide down into a pit isn't easy to stomach - and as TGC does listen to the playerbase to an extent nobody who once found it their comfort game would want to give up on it completely

Also the game is growing increasingly janky over time, which ranges anywhere from minor inconveniences to straight up being locked out of the game depending on how lucky you are with the code spaghetti monster

And these issues need to be brought up
Because if nobody talks about it, nothing will change

the issue is that it's not even a clean problem, and neither will the solution be so. Because there is an economical issue at play with top players having a lot more candles than new players. The devs don't want the top players to be able to 100% everything that's free on day 1, so they raise the prices - but that leads to the new players getting left behind.
But if the prices were low for new players, then the top players just get everything instantly and, as soon as they've had their fun, they quit again instead of continuing to play.

personally, I think the issue could be somewhat mitigated by changing how season candles work - make it so that you can get them from normal wax too at a lower rate, and make it so that all free seasonal items can be bought with season candles for a much lower price than the candle price.

also, good tip for anyone who ever buys an IAP: if you have proof of your purchase but the items still has not shown up, the first thing you should do before contacting support

is open up the respective shop menu and select the "restore purchases" icon. ideally, the item(s) you purchased will appear labeled as free or $0. select the icon, and you should be able to redeem your purchase

and if that doesn't appear, then proceed with contacting support (don't submit a bug report, that is not the proper channel for this situation)

Elder shield or mask (not the masks that you get from base spirits) are one of the ultimate gifts you can get when you complete a constellation and meet them in orbit :D

You can survive a hit without losing WLs with a krill and multiple hits from a crab. They're especially useful during shard events because normally when you're hit by a crab, you can get knocked far away. But with an elder shield, your child will barely move when they get hit.

Downsides is, a hit from a krill will break your elder shield. But not to worry! Just visit the temple of the designated elder and they'll fix it right back up for you.

oh i know all about the figurine

• other people who interact with it will change clothes to match it but they can't copy items they don't own (eg if i interact with a figurine wearing all dreams items and the black shattering ult, all my items except my cape will copy the mannequin since i don't have the black shattering ult)
• what the figurine is wearing changes to match what you're wearing every time you place it down, so you can't use it to change outfits on the fly but you can use it as an outfit preset if you put it in a shared space
• if there's nothing in one of the mannequin's item slots your skykid will just ignore it when copying its outfit, so if you make it barefoot and copy it while wearing shoes you should keep your shoes on even if the outfit you're copying is wearing pants that are incompatible with shoes
• it's very cute

i do have a cool art idea of a hand reaching out to a shattered mirror depicting different eden elder depictions, like so many different versions of someone whom any memory or remnant of them has long been eroded by time that one could only spectate who they could've been

wait actually i'm iffy about the cyan magic thing, i forget if flight guide uses magic themself or if the clouds move away on their own..... my other source is that "flying" at the end of the air trial feels nothing like the actual flight controls but that might just be a gameplay limitation
IN ANY CASE flight has 2 spirits with capes and one that can levitate and none of them could do anything about the clouds without a skykid

i'd say Winged Light gives us the ability to fly. you can't fly without Light but the cape sticks to you. the cape isn't magical, you are... Skids and the Lights are super connected, this is confirmed. that cutscene right after PNR also really intrigues me.
the easiest explanation to cyan light and Air Trial to me at least is just the spirits trying to make use/manipulate crap so they can fly. we still don't know how darkstone tech works but it must be another example of that. does that make sense?

very tangentially related but i think it's fun that the strings on mellow's guitar are made of cyan magic the strings aren't made of a corporeal material so strumming where they should be makes soundwaves directly instead of needing to vibrate through the guitar first, which is also why the guitar doesn't have anywhere to plug in an amp, is missing half its neck and has a teeny-tiny body that wouldn't resonate at all if it were part of a real guitar
