I don't know how else to explain that a moth that doesn't seem to realize how dangerous the krill were, was guiding the saluting protector spirit orb directly into the path of the krill

and didn't seem to realize that they should try hiding or go taking a different route

I finally reached a point where I don't need trials or eden WL to reach 200 it's great

tbh I used to try to max my run and then it was like okay this isn't fun and I definitely don't need all this extra WL because that just makes the dying part take longer when I just want to leave and get to orbit when I've collected all the statues
so doing the bare minimum of getting to where is good for me is nice 😌

there's also a couple of tricks you can pull to shortcut it faster

like I can run full valley to the temple without re-running it again for the race WL

there's also an extremely reliable forest shortcut right at the start if you want to skip the initial flight distance
once you jump off the ledge into the clouds, go home then return, it puts you right at the gate at the bottom and saves a bit of time you would have otherwise had to take to boost down there

the exact same trick applies for when you first fly into citadel
hit home and return, it puts you at the entrance and is way faster than manually flying there

use this same trick for the sliding race -> slide all the way down to the WL BUT DON'T CONTINUE, STOP
once you stop, hit home and return, it puts you right at the start then you just back out and go towards the flying race
you don't get the wax reward but your WLR is way faster since you don't have to go down to the ice rink again

there's also a really good shortcut in underground caves where if you jump at the side of the wall (if you're tall) or chibi fall through (this is where the really tall WL is where you have to deep call butterflies to send you up), you can fly straight towards and under the WL near the exit that goes towards sunny clearing (grammas place) then you like skim right underneath, yoink, then dive back down towards wind paths tunnel and it's very stonks

I just use the Wings of AURORA to skip to the end of the race and instantly earn my wax right after I get my wings lol

I never mind collecting my wls since I will get use to it, after all you only have to go to eden one time and then wait for it to restart again next week

Tho if you don't like going to eden because of wls run, you know you can wait for the red shard one

it's also like, if you get better at statue saving, you can lower the amount you gotta collect back
or well, the wing buffs over time from TS helps reduce that too

Forest has plenty of mushrooms and such to gain massive heigh even at low WL
Being far from each other doesn't really matter to how hard it is, it's being far from the nearest recharge point

what's actually useful is the moment you boost, switch to glide mode and you will get waaayy farther
the toggle glide on/off button is my lifeblood

oh here's another fun tip for wasteland (this never occurred to me until I saw another beta player show this for a thing)
you know those butterflies that come out when you burn dark plants? use the butterfly hold emote once you burn to get one to land
that's a really good on the spot recharge, it recharges really reliably and you don't need to deep call to get them to charge you

I have over 200wl every time I go into Eden, plus an elder mask, so I don’t have any trouble getting every statue consistently. Of course that doesn’t mean someone who’s been playing for far less time than me would have the same experience, but that is why I specified it being the rough maximum because in most months you can get 78.75ac from Eden alone, then there’s generally enough red shards to bring it closer to 100, either just below or just above it.

the difference between these seasons is that the nine coloured deer mask is from a partnership season, the other seasons are not. the mask is directly inspired by the actual deer, which by the way will most likely change at the end of the season due to copyright

since you've actively payed for the mask (assuming you already have), the mask will not change, as that can be considered "scamming", I presume. but after the partnership has ended, since the mask is directly related to the copyright, it will not become available. unless they decide to get another partnership, these items will not come back, as we've seen with the season of aurora. the items were limited, but brought back upon the concert rerun, because the partnership was brought back temporarily

Yeah apparently for the elders, they can mostly sleep up to 4 hours a night. But they must get the rest of their sleep in long "naps".

That´s like 5-10 seasons worth of quests there, defo best to take them in chunks ... and Season of Prophecy ones can be pretty long as well as frustrating at times.

If humans sleep for 6-8 hours a day
Elders will sleep at night for 4 hours
Then maybe a 2-hour nap in the morning, and another 2 in the afternoon so it'd total 8 hours of sleep.

They're not used to sleeping at long periods anymore.
