You know how thoughts come and go, like you think about something and then something else replaces it
Imagine the thing you forgot just, never really pops ever

There's also forgetting an information, which is quite literally just you are certain that you knew this information before, but now the information is missing as if you had never known it

Our job as teachers (imo) is to help help our students grow and flourish, and / or prepare them for the world. Yes you can eat the Crabs, but they are created from Darkness. And not that fulfilling. Most of their make-up is their hard shell and tough tendons

Krills, although big and a great source of camouflage once you manage to take one down, are not good food sources because of the quality of the flesh. Its rotten with Darkness that to eat it would mean poisoning yourself.

As of right now, the refugees are relying on military rations supplied from the Valley of Triumph, the Saluting Protector's chicken farm, and what the Enchantment Troupe manage to farm in their meager plot of farmland

The water is heavily polluted for multiple reasons, the main one being the Darkness the Tyrant King used to create his Dark Riders.

In some places its more sludge than not. With the limited resources on hand, water purification is extremely hard to come by. Typically, clean potable water comes from, again, the Valley of Triumph.

The Abyss crew could possibly bring clean water from their excavations but they are mostly station in salt water areas and also their boat is not equipped with transporting that kind of cargo.

In terms of meat, the Valley of Triumph has some big animals that can feed a village through the winter through proper preparation and rationing, like the Wooly Manta. Triumphants do not waste their kills. They use every part: wool for clothes, meat for food, bones for miscellaneous things, fat for fuel, ect.

Plants on the other hand, is a different story. The Valley of Triumph is situated in the literal peaks of a mountain range, making fauna rather scarce due to the sub-zero temps and arid climate.

That doesn't mean they don't have fauna growing there. They have a very special plant called an Edlove. Edloves produce a berry that is so good, that Triumphants add it to everything they can. However it is a plant that does not like to be domesticated, thus its a resource you have to scavenge for.

They do trade with other Realms, but that's more common on the outskirts and the lower in altitude you are. Also more common in the summer

The Isle of Dawn was once was a beautiful desert oasis filled with an array of rare, exotic fauna—now it’s just a desert.

And with it, comes scarcity.

The Isle is literally a dustbowl. The sand is too loose to grow any crops, and if you did manage to plant them, the sandstorms would just rip them out. any and all native animals have abandoned the area, except the Light Birds who stick close to the Temple and are considered Sacred, thus not food.

However, plants have adapted.

The plants that survive aren't exactly "edible" as they are resourceful. They provide wax, plant fibers, and more.

The Temple isn't really a temple moreso a shelter. The Daylight Prairie sends them food, water, and supplies in exchange for the plant fibers and wax. The Temple is also where a huge majority of the Islanders live and seek protection against the storms.

I actually left sky for a week during enchantment after I got battered in GWs first krill room for the first time ( I had like 40 wings and lost 8 or 9 one my first day). The vets helped through the GW and showed some tricks , and I was finally starting to enjoy my time there. I try my best to do the same for new players.

The Daylight Prairie LOVE their fish. Every authentic dish there has fish in it in one way or another. Because of the geography of the Prairies being a bit of a misnomer, there aren't that many places to farm large quantities of crops and livestock.

BUT there's lots of ocean and water.

Because of this, what Prairie Farmers do exist focus on spice crops. The Prairie's main export are herbs and spices because the soil is so honking fertile and they have a bigger range of climates like the damp dark caves or the eternally bright fields.

This remains true even after the War because of how far away they were from the Capital thus the actual fighting

The Hidden Forest's main source of food are fowl, squirrels, and other native forest dwellers. A good chunk of their population are hunters. On the flip side, Foresters (or as they like to be called, Ninjas) have access to so many different types of berries, some good, some... not

They also have access to huge salt deposits, allowing them to preserve their food better.

The Ninjas get their potable water by collecting the rain and going through the long process of depolluting, sanitizing, and distilling it. Because of the Dark Plants, this process can take up to a week. So naturally, households typically have an ongoing rotation to ensure they always have clean water.

Now, the trees themselves are special. They are thick and hardy enough to hold up massive pagodas and houses, and they shelter the resident Ninjas from the brunt of the storms (although they are still pretty bad). But the best part is this: the trees produce sap. not just a little, but a whole lot.

Every Autumn, during Days of Feast, Ninjas will insert a spicket into the trees to collect its sap and make it into syrup. People from all over the kingdom comes to the Grand Feast hosted by Sovereign Elder Teth just to try the Forest's famous syrup.

The Vault of Knowledge is very limited with their food choices.

Yes they have a collection of every type of seed, but they have nowhere to farm them. Every floor is dedicated to preserving each realm's history. And they have no animals for obvious reasons

So what do they do?

Do they trade with realms nearest to them? No, the Golden Wasteland legitimately cannot do that and Eden is literally a death trap.

Do they use the Starlight Desert as farmland? No. They just didn't want to.

Instead, they literally genetically modified certain crops to grow under the soft crystal lights. and just the plants. They are vegetarian.

They do trade with the Daylight Prairie for spices to flavor their very bland grain... but shipments take a while for lack of a better term.

They get their water from an aquifer situated beneath the Vault

Oh i definitely agree, there was a time i walked into wasteland lobby during days of love just to check out other skykids. I lit almost everyone in the lobby and everyone there was wearing the bat cape and the fire pants.
