there's one very specific detail I keep noticing about sky cotl ads, or just posters/trailers/teasers
every character in these previous examples always use easy to access items, or items related to the event, I have not seen any exceptions to this so far. they always use normal capes, NEVER season items unless directly related to what they're showing

and I think it's a great idea what they're doing, because, take it like this
player sees ad, they also see "moth" with a blue, normal cape, player wants it, tries the game and eventually gets said item without struggling too much
comparing this to any previous seasonal items: player sees cool gratitude ULT gift mask, they want the mask, they try the game and realize "I can't get the item" :(, feels decieved and quits game

You don't have to force yourself to get all the Bloom items. Personally, I'll be aiming for the new event item that can be bought with the event currency. The older capes will return anyway, so there's no point in burning yourself out with CR. Do what suits you best so that you can enjoy the game & Days of Bloom since there's a lot more to experience than just cosmetics. I'm looking forward to seeing what they've planned for us this year & I hope that you'll be able to experience it all too

I just got done talking to a lil moff friend of mine. They said that they were upset because they can’t keep up and they’re always left behind in cosmetics, candles, wl, etc. so….
This message is for all the moffs like Brix

I’ve been playing since 2020!

• There is a candle cake in vault. The one on one of the ruins with the circle of candles around a WL and the cake with it. I did not know it existed until early this year
• I have very few cosmetics despite how long I’ve played for
• I didn’t take my first Eden trip until 2022
• I am still afraid of the wasteland
• I have never gotten an Elder Mask
• It took me 4 days to come up with 30 candles

I feel like I’m an exception in that Wasteland doesn’t scare me much. If anything, I find it more so annoying than anything.

I like Broken Temple, the Graveyard area I just fly over everything, Forgotten Ark and Battlefield are really boring to cross for me…

I do like Shipwreck and am wary about it, though, and Treasure Reef is one of my favourite seasonal areas.

It's best to skip a Season when that happens. Many people skipped Remembrance because of burnout, as far as I remember. And it's valid too. You don't have to delete the app, but just remove it from your home screen so that you won't look at it. Once you feel like you can enjoy & give some of your time to playing, come back to it with renewed energy

I've been playing the game for like, what, 2 years+ everyday nonstop until 2 seasons ago? And only now returned because a friend told me about flight spirit TS returning (and here since). 🤔 I must say the difference between you and me would be the excitement? Not that Sky doesn't excite me anymore but that I don't see the need to focus on it that much anymore? I believe in Sky will still exist years more and so I think I'm relaxed about missing things. 🤧

Agreed. Before, I used to be extremely frustrated with having to CR for events along with TS. There was this one time that Days of Colour happened & right after that the Butterfly cape TS came. It's good that they introduced the event currency system, much less to get worried over

Now that I look back, I took a break when the Aurora Encore concerts happened. It was too overwhelming to see so many ppl & I couldn't even see the event currencies in the arena, so I didn't play much back then & missed out on the emote

i got burnt out the first month of playing pre-chevron system so my friends and i only knew to cr all realms but i had the closest i could get to a real break only last year. went on to get one ult from passage, barely went on during moments, and kinda half in half out but slowly got back during revival

That's fair! For me, I guess Sky's one of those rare few things I like to fixate on for ages. So even if I'm a little burned out, that still remains.

Honestly, even if the day comes when I've completed everything that I can complete, I'll still probably be around. Less often, but Sky is super calming to me, so I'll probably just be there, playing music sheets and finding stuff to do in the realms.
