Ascended candles and wingbuffs when you unlock the locks in spirit trees. Both are nice, and have their uses.

A variety of things! I've noticed that their primary use is unlocking wingbuffs - which also lets you get items from higher tiers in spirit trees. But you're also able to trade them away for spells (I like using them for tickets in the Days Of events), and once you complete one of the regular constellations, you can trade them away for the hair and maybe the mask of the Elder of the realm you've completed.

(Only Isle, Prairie and Forest have masks so far.)

They're the red candles. You use them to unlock the "second stage" and uncover the clouds in spirit trees! (Those spirits give you winged lights as you leave when you go orbit)

You know those little stone things at the start of each realm that, when you walk up to them, one of the spirits you've unlocked descends and you can interact with them? Once you do, that's your spirit tree. You can also access it at Home.

Oh.. um. like the spirits, when you talk/interact with them from the constellation at home or the "gravestone" things at the start of each realm (after you relive the spirit), they offer you emote upgrades and cosmetics and stuff! We call that a "spirit tree" because each spirit has one, and its shaped like a tree with a trunk in the middle and branches on the side

Even if you don't really intend to buy anything from them yet, I would at least recommend progressing far enough to get to and/or open the locks if you can. I believe any lock opened will add to your base WL count ater going through Eden. So if you unlocked the buffs from, say, all of Isle of Dawn, instead of starting with a single WL, you'd start with four instead.

no wonder! Well the tops of some spirits trees are covered by a fog/mist/clouds! You can use ascended candles to unlock the wing lock (literally looks like a lock with wings) and that does 2 things:

• this spirit will turn yellow and give you a Winged Light (or Wing Buff is what we call them) the next time you ascend to orbit and get reborn
• will uncover the fog/clouds so you can see and buy the rest of the things the spirit is offering!

I will say that Daímonas loves his daughter a lot, he helped assist Prophecy partially through Isle, at least by leading her to Prarie, and helped keep her warm in Forest. Serena had finally shown herself to Prophecy at the end of Forest (the sunny area before valley) and then led her through Valley, albeit not speaking until the end at the temple, in which she said "He will meet you there, Seraphim.", referring to how Daímonas is proficient in Wasteland and helps guide Prophecy through Wasteland, where she experiences her one and literally only traumatic experience. Getting hit by a krill. It doesn't permanently effect her, it just makes her lose her light, to which Daímonas brings back to her and helps calm her down from the shock. She prefers to stay away from Wasteland, but she doesn't have any long lasting mental issues due to it

Ruby doesn't traumatize her either, more of make Prophecy horrifically uncomfortable due to the connections they have with each other (i.e the shard inside of them both, they're not related, they're just connected through Eden)
Daímonas has become so used to Eden that shards don't effect him easily. They still do, but it's more of a little itch on some parts of his body, just becoming hives on his palms and around his scar on his arm. It's why he's able to fight Ruby back into Eden while Serena takes the residents of Aviary Village to a safer place

The Shattering social area isn't available to go to anymore since it held the spirit trees, and probably some other reasons, but it was the hub of the season basically, where you'd go it you teleported to the guide

It had lore hints, different spirit trees since there weren't actually any spirits, introduced a brand new event (technically two cause of the red and black shard differences), revamped PnR almost entirely, and introduced a new mechanic, the crawl

Dog Nightmare is actually the perfect song for Prophecy. After she meets Ruby, she starts having horrible mood swings, something so miniscule as missing a piece of Light can send her off the edge and into a fit of rage. It's more hurtful to her that she doesn't know why it's happening, or what caused it. Eventually she's able to overcome her battles and send Ruby back into Eden for good, leaving her in Limbo (i.e the Shattering season social area), where Ruby Eventually makes peace with the silence and waits patiently, alone, happy.

Even then, Dog Nightmare is an even better song for Arc 2 Prophecy. She's confused on why some skids are distanced away from her, where she's from, all of that. After seeing her parents for the first time while rescuing Cannoneer (I imagine the boat to the reef is farther away from Wasteland in actuality) and after that, she starts asking around about her parents, when she meets the Moth. She doesn't know their names until she meets Daímonas at Wasteland, as Catbird, Darling, nor Serena said their names at all. Daímonas basically told Prophecy everything. About the collision, the eruptions, how it got to that point, everything.

Tldr: Dog Nightmare is the best song choice for Prophecy

Fun fact about Daímonas, he only refers to Prophecy as Seraphim when Serena is around. It's not that Serena doesn't like the name Prophecy, she's very much willing to call her daughter by Prophecy if she wished, but since she hasn't been told to say otherwise, she calls her by her original name, Seraphim

It kind of like how you have nicknames around your friends and other names around your family.
Prophecy told Daímonas her name because she didn't actually know he and Serena named her Seraphim, so he just calls her Prophecy unless he's talking to Serena
