My biggest shard advice is to not hesitate to just run away to heal and come back
There's almost always some way to heal and come back
I can only think of like 2-3 shards where healing is a geniune problem
If you heal the only real thing that can eat your WL is when the hitboxes start getting janky and trapping you in them

or getting juggled by the red rocks/stunlocked by the crabs (both just happened to me)

For crabs the best solution imo is to start the clearing process by luring them away using honks
You can move them really far away and they're now a non issue
Juggled by red rocks i have seen a few times but i never lost my WL to it, because they still don't typically juggle for long enough to drop my whole health from full

I've noticed the crabs like to run back. Especially when other players chase them back towards them. And sometimes they'll just charge you from the timeout corner you put them into anyway.

When on my own they've never ever come back from whatever timeout corner i put them in before i had the time to entierly clear off their native mini-shard
When other people are involved, honestly the shard immediately loses a lot of its threat because well, either we can use each other as healing or we can just choose different plants to burn

Typically when i'm with others i let others do the ones with red rocks because they're the ones I'm worst at
So i prefer to instead deal with all the other options in the meantime
As long as i'm contributing i can simply choose to pick what i feel most capable of doing

Usually, I find that the crabs just kind of bunch up in one spot, the one where everyone's trying to burn plants, stunlock me (or even knock me onto my back or into the shards themselves), and because nobody's lit each other healing becomes impossible

But because you're all burning plants, you all have have your candles out
So you can literally just move to another skid burning a plant and burn it with them, and you get lit up and healed from their candle (and vice versa they get healed by yours if need be)
Because the way shards works means candles are almost always out, you can just light literally anyone you see participating because their candle will be up, and you'll both get light by doing that

See, you'd think. Everyone picks the same plant to burn, but opposite corners. (And getting hit by crabs makes you drop your candle.)

Doesn't matter what everyone else does, you can make your move either way as long as they're participating

Lighting someone only takes a short instant of candle contact, and after that you can heal each other so much that you can even tank the crabs as long as you stick with them

i still get hit sometimes, though there are still a few i need to work on solo

When alone, crabs are very predictable and can be manipulated
When with others, you can choose to go for any other shard whole others work on this one, or you can glue yourself to someone while they burn stuff down and now you're near invincible

If someone else is honking at the crabs, then you may as well let them handle it
If no one else is honking, you have free reign to distract them while others burn all the plants

I've done several Eden shards now. I've helped people with them where I can. I have never successfully managed to light another player. Plus, as a PC player, I'm on a different seed, so I don't even see the plants in the same spots as they do and can't help burn 90% of them.

I liked the dragon race and fireworks show... but the dragon train spell thing? I hated that. Stars, I hated that thing so much. It kept stealing my interact prompts, I'd get kidnapped by randoms, I wouldn't be able to let go for 2-3 seconds afterwards, and some people brought that damned thing into Eden!!! Or, you know, to red shards!!!

it always seemed like it's impossible to save up, capes 90 pants 90 or even higher... i felt like living paycheck to paycheck but with candles.

introducing tickets for events addresses only half of the problem because the daily white candle payout is still too low for the amount of past content in the game. but it’s purposefully carefully done by development in order to earn additional revenue because it is a free-to-play live service game with servers and development costs that don’t come cheap. they also need a contingency plan for ticket items because if all previous ticket items stay purchased that way, the amount of tickets available per day in a given event will need to increase each rerun. if they turn past years’ ticket items back into candle items they have solved nothing economy wise

Days of Colour testing should be rolling around into beta in late April/early May, so I think we’ll find out what they’re doing for past event items that costed tickets previously around that time

If there is a TS group with two spirits you were looking for, you’re screwed.

Can confirm, I had a resize obsession that even the smallest difference, I can pretty much tell and get upset when I shrink by 0.01m.

I stopped now though and is at height 1 (1.17m) and promise to never touch resizes ever again. Not gonna bother aiming for max height, no sir no more.
