really not sure why they thought the first section of Eden needed periodic wind currents that just chuck you all the way back to the start for committing the crime of doing a Mandatory Jump on a cycle that you can't even see

These people likely fear to get krilled themselves and just end up with a chain reaction of pain
I've seen that phenomenon described multiple times and it has pushed people to fear helping in eden

I am starting to hate Eden. Genuinely despise this place. People don't help each other, the mechanics are unclear at best and player-hostile at worst, signposting is awful, it keeps stealing the camera for "look at this thing for 10 seconds" cutscenes, and it ultimately doesn't even feel that rewarding to get through it
Oh and half the time the rocks just clip through your cover and hit you anyway

Thing is, Eden was, and always has been, designed to be done as a group. Getting through it solo only works if you know exactly what you're doing at all times.

That's why I always go to Eden with a friend, except for the last place with the statues. I can't navigate around the Krills with rocks. I've helped moths in the statue area often tho because that's where they are usually left alone to fend for themselves with nothing but 6 wedges

Yeah I don’t like it much either, I try to help others if I’m nearby but I’m also greatly risking myself. I wish the devs would tone it down a bit so I can help others without risking myself and I think that’s why a lot of players don’t help

When you're in Eden, most people come under three categories. 1st, very common, soloing. 2nd, common, in a friend's group or 3rd, trying to find help whilst at Eden, pretty rare.

Eden is very unforgiving if you're doing your first run solo because very very few people will stop to help because they're either rushing solo or already in a group.

This isn't to sound mean it's just how it is unfortunately.

(That being said I have no idea how to do the second part of Eden cause chibi)

To be quite honest with you, crawling feels miserable and all it does is get you stunlocked for 10+ seconds while you bleed like 50 Winged Light all over the floor. Then you get up again, and get smacked by a rock and put right back into crawling.

the new dragon thing is super cool for the simple reason that it lets you hold hands with strangers

I just went to vault to do a candle run, and there was a single stranger there wearing the dragon suit. Pretty soon all 4 of us in the lobby were linked up, and the leader took us on a thorough candle run. After it was done, we all became friends. It was a really cool reversal of the usual sequence (friending people first, then taking them on runs together)

Yeah it was genuinely one of the best little things I've experienced in the game so far, and it really makes me wish that holding hands with strangers was something we could do more often (perhaps not just with friends)

It's been there since launch. My guess is the observatory is filled with clouds and doves and is a great place for free flying, so the bird could be saying that. (I really don't know the word.) I didn't exactly communicate this so well before, but I think one thought I had is, the bird is a symbolic thing. It's not an actual bird, but a marble bird built there as a message from the spirits/Elders to those who passed through the Orrery. Why it's upside down, I don't know. I will say I think this theory has some weight to it. Ever since the pandemic, specifically when mask wearing became commonplace, I can't... see people speak the same.
