Okay so maybe Catbird and Darling first guide Prophecy, which catches the attention of Daímonas, so when he goes down from Orbit to see what's going on, he starts to get more invested and dedicated to help his daughter out, which in turn catches the attention of Serena, who eventually helps assist Prophecy in areas Serena is more proficient in when Daímonas is not.
Aka, Serena is able to maneuver around Valley, parts of Forest, and Prarie, whilst Daímonas is more proficient in moving through Isle, Wasteland, and the other parts of Forest, as they see Vault and Eden as her final trials essentially, as she's the closest to the Megabird in Vault while still on the ground of the realms, and when she reaches Orbit, instead of going straight to the Light Doorway, she goes on a long journey to the beak of the Megabird, meeting her creator and almost predecessor eye to eye. Who she was meant to become, yet decided against.

So follow a friend is whispering a spell and having a mini wind path shoot you to your friend. It's what Serena and Daímonas used in their battle before they collided(and is also why they collided), they repeatedly used the Follow a Friend spell then canceled midway through it to rubberband towards each other and back to try and attack each other. But due to this, it took a slight miscalculation for them to collide head on, and since they were elders(i.e gods), they caused Eden to literally explode (like the mountain as a whole to explode), grow more than twice as large as before, then mold itself back together, causing the shard eruptions, the Megabird to wake up, and the creation of Prophecy/Seraphim

Oh yeah they woke up the megabird from its long slumber, causing a feather to fall down from the megabird, which is how Prophecy is part megabird and almost became the next megabird

By the way the entire time I was writing all of this, Skyfall by Adele was playing through my headphones

I’m not sure how the switch works when it comes to closing applications, but if you need to visit a menu of sorts to close it then your skykid will sit before vanishing (unless in the middle of performing an emote)
