What if... Season of Choice, with 2 spirit guides, one presenting more of a historian look, that dedicates you to the history of the old days, showing some unique traditions, that could be a callback to the community, like a tradition to bow whenever you meet someone new
And other one would have more of a "quirky teen" look both in style and life choices, would represent new generation of sky players in some way and will try to invent new history points to the upcoming future

And your role, as the player, would bring those guides together, since future can't exist without past

I dont think the crabs can really be affected by that. They dont have much of a reaction to fire as they are creatures of darkness. Sky is set many centuries after all the humans on it died, so it cannot be recent. Its just there

I'm relistening Baldur's Gate 3 osts and Twisted Force have the exact vibe of encountering krill in the open

I can clearly imagine a somewhat animatic, where 2 skykids trying to traverce through Graveyard by flying above, but one of the krills knocks them down on the ground. Older one, after awaking, witnessing a horrible picture that krill is about to charge at their friend, that have nowhere to run. As the last resort, he grabs the staff and lights it on(like isle elder) to lure the attention of a krill on himself. A fight occures, that alerts other krills to join the hunt. In the rush, older skykid snatches younger in the sky, trying to escape the chace through Battlefield. Krills are coming closer and closer, but both of skykids manages to dash under closing gates to the Temple. They are safe, for now

I doubt TGC would ever 100% take a fan design because they'd probably have to pay for it and they have their own people for that sort of thing. They may take fan art as inspiration, but I doubt they would accept a fan design unless they felt it was perfectly suited to the game's vibe and art direction.

That doesn't mean that, say, ALL of the AURORA spirits need to visit before Pleading Child can, but there needs to be at least one. AURORA spirits aren't even on the table until a Performance spirit returns, so we've got a while until it's a possibility.

don’t worry, we all start out as “cringe” when we first start out writing. you’ll improve your story writing skills over time imo the key is to make it seem a lot more realistic in terms of how the characters interact with each other and their surroundings! that can be steadily achieved if you observe other story patterns carefully.

also if your teacher calls you out on how “bad” your story is, i don’t think that’s okay. there’s a fine line between calling a major issue in your writing to attention and flat out ridiculing your attempts to write it.

Not in my experience. It depends on your teacher and school. I've never had teachers tell the entire class something that another student wrote except to vaguely say "don't do this thing you shouldn't do, here's a vague example without telling you who they are or what they wrote"

Well, a cape is usually... something like 60-75 candles? But there's usually 10-15 candles worth of spells, a tier 3 emote for 3 hearts, and the Wing Buff for 2 AC as well before you can get a cape

Sort of! Events may be more or less expensive depending on the event (Feast can be VERY expensive in terms of candles), and there are also items you can get for real money. They also last longer than a Traveling Spirit's visit, and usually have decorated areas and activities.

My archachatina natalensis & archachatina pulyaetri somehow made eggs, if they hatch it'll probably be a never seen before hybrid. Because these 2 species are so uncommon / rare it's very unlikely anyone has ever seen a hybrid of these, I even know people who haven't even heard of the natalensis let alone a hybrid containing it

It's possible to dodge a krill, but difficult, so you could dodge it by chance if you keep moving. Hard to say

If you get krilled and lose like 5 WL you probably won't get it all back even if you were grounded
Alternatively you could try to get to a light source to be able to get back up quickly post krilling

For the eden krill specifically, consistently taking the same routes should yield the same results, because you're not working with multiple overlapping krill paths
So it's a learning game for those
Also another thing : the spotlight is not perfectly accurate to their sight, sometimes it shines on some cover even though they won't see you in it
If you get caught, and find a hiding spot, do not move
Even if the light goes over you, it's still safe because without moving they can't re create line of sight with you

I mean we can't be sure that they tell the story, it's the exact same thing that the narrator says at the beginning of the game (unless the hopeful steward has been the narrator this whole time /j)
and for the most part they kinda just point to things and talk with their motions much like any other spirit, why would they suddenly let out an entire paragraph? maybe they can talk because they're more akin to a skykid than a spirit and are just really quiet unless they have to talk like with telling the story?

I like the season, but speaking as someone who’s been playing for so long now and done all of the past seasonal quests, I do wish I could appreciate it a little more than I can now. Respect it for what it is, especially as it incentives moths to check out all of these other cool questlines, but older players might very well have done these questlines already.

The vibes of the season are unparalleled, though. It truly does feel like a new beginning, and I’m really glad to see the Aviary being built up.

Revival’s technical strengths and vibes give it an edge over Passage for me. Though Passage I also found quite forgettable (I only really remember the music for that one quest, and even then, barely), so surpassing it isn’t really that hard to do for me.

Same. I’d be shocked if it happened… well, again. They kind of did that with Shattering with the only thing of note being that the Elders exploded. I’d hope Revival gets a cool quest to conclude things.

I actually think something similar to Dreams’ final quest could be excellent, actually. I guess sort of like the Aviary coming together for some kind of grand event or celebration.

Passage I’m somewhat conflicted about, because that season was during a less-than-great portion of my life. Major changes, general burnout and everything. So part of me wonders how much that’s skewing my perspective on Passage.

I will say, though, Passage has one of my favourite seasonal aesthetics. I love all of the masks, I love the seasonal items. I adore the pants, especially. And the tanuki tail was one of the best cape ideas TGC’s had.

Honestly, even if I have my complaints about Passage (like the fact that it felt like a defanged Prophecy), and even if I rank it as my second least favourite, it’s still miles above Shattering to me. Passage had potential, and was ambitious. Shattering was just kind of not good. (My apologies to anyone who liked Shattering.)

Passage to me is more so ‘okay’ than anything. It exists. I’m fine with it.

That’s fair! Prophecy isn’t for everyone, I get that. For me, I just wish there were more consequences to not doing the questline right. Though maybe that’s not a good idea with Festival Tech and the potential for the servers to break.

Still, it felt a little anti-climactic when the servers broke for me in the final quest, and I literally just stood on a plant the entire time and still won.

I kind of get what they were going for, but it just was not exciting. Every quest was the same thing. You were only really seeing a different memory each time.

Saying that, I more so want fun factor over lore, so your mileage may vary, right?

they let you ... it's more wakeboarding than surfing, but they let you surf on open water
