Personally, festival tech seems a bit overused to me at this point, I would prefer if it was used on rarer occasions, also it often causes connection issues (at least for me) where instead of seeing a lot of people you are completely alone in a place, also also it creates lag for some people

I don't see how it's being overused yet though, we've only had three instances of it over a full year and people were still saying that when there were only two, concert and passage

For passage, it seemed like it was gonna be more on the quiet side, I get that isle of dawn is vast and they needed to fill space but... not with festival tech

So like pros: super alive and fun in the right environment, allows greater connectivity with other skykids, really creates an atmosphere yknow
Cons...: bugs, can be used very wrongly, overwhelming if no off option, causes lag, thinking about this now but also might cause epilepsy?
With all of the input I am understanding that maybe this isn't the best option, esp with how it's probably gonnna be handled in aviary

a couple minutes before the shard lands the realms turn a different shade and eden also glows
nothing happens within eden itself but if you're in a realm with a clear view of the mountain it will glow white and spew out the shards

Tip for Eden, don't stay long at the last lantern statue. In fact, don't stay there at all. It's a death trap that just lulls you in the false sense of security of recharging your light when it extinguishes you faster than recharging you.

Yeah, that’s the main issue with it. I feel like the trick to it is, you either have to move a specific way, or wait a specific amount of time to hover. One of the two. Or maybe both.

Yeah. I think it’s the timing thing. If I recall rightly, I feel like it’s a case of, when you’re flung up, the force pushing you lasts longer than the actual ascent, so you end up flung despite hovering. I think you need to wait for that push to wear off. Does that make sense?

I'd actually expected to be there for ages the first time I played it seriously. But I guess in time, I just decided to see where the game decided to take me and manipulate where I went later into my jump rather than earlier. And apparently, to my surprise, it actually seemed to work out for me.

~200 candles is often enough to afford everything, but if the burnout would be too much, bring only 100 or so to the table and pick only your favorite items

100 candles is a good amount if you only want 1 item from each spirit it's also good to look up the upcoming ts once they get announced so you can skip spirits you don't want

Usually when starting with geyser and grandma, I’ll have time to do dailies and fly around before the next geyser starts, I just try to keep 10 candles for myself and then grind more for sending 1 to 2 hearts to friends! Getting over 15 is actually pretty fast I feel
