I think it’ll probably work the same as in Days of Rainbow - you get tickets. So I think the spirits will be the main issue with hearts, and while they’re not confirmed by name, they are confirmed as the ones with instruments. And they do have spirit trees you can reference.

Oh, that’s for a quest! Go to the start of Hidden Forest and look up and to your right. You’ll see a ledge. Go up there and there will be a Spirit gate requiring 1 Spirit from Vault of Knowledge. Inside is a place where you can do quests to unlock shortcuts to various Season Areas.

The shortcuts don’t go to all the Season Areas though, only ones that happened before said Season. It has shortcuts to the Cave of Prophecy in Isle, Sanctuary Islands in Prairie, the cave accessed through the Granny area, Hermit Valley in Valley of Triumph, Forgotten Ark in Golden Wasteland, and Starlight Desert in Vault of Knowledge. But they’re very useful for getting around.

I’d also like to mention that in 4/6 of the areas it takes you too, it drops you off basically right by a candle cake, and there’s two in there as well, so it makes for a surprisingly good CR route.

It’s not a full candle cake, it’s more like a candle cluster, but if you drop down right as you enter and go into the first tunnel you’ll see, there’s a bunch of candles at the end there. I hear some folks refer to it as a cake, though, so I figured that was easier to say.
