tbh it's quite a normal thing to happen to all of us. we lose interest in old things and gain interest in new ones. and that's okay - maybe you've grown out of it and now you're a different person than the one you were when you were fascinated by a topic. perhaps you can come back to it, but if you don't, it's also alright to move on. so I don't think too much about it other than filing it away in my head to think about sometimes as a reflection of the past

I think it's happened to me a few times, although most of my interests are unfading. Usually it's been something I developed a bad association with, or started to see flaws in, or just grew out of naturally as I found more interesting things. and then i would grow less passionate about the thing. It's difficult especially when you've been really passionate about something, and often best thing you can do is try to accept it and move on. You can always still cherish the good memories of something and find many other lovable things to enjoy in this world.

Yeah - especially if you can start from high ground, provided you stay away from them, going above is a surefire way to avoid them.

If you're in Graveyard, there's a spirit and a WL in the cliffy area to the left, but that's not too difficult to do. Just watch your step, and if you get spotted, break their line of sight with whatever terrain you can find. Krills only see you - honks won't attract their attention.

They'll also lock on if you get too close to them, but that's not too hard to avoid. You basically have to be right on top of them.

Counterintuitive tip, but so long as you stay out of their line of sight, you can actually walk directly below krills if you’re desperate.

Honestly? Know when to retreat, and what your surroundings look like. It’s better to pull back and find a place to heal than end up getting juggled by crabs.

With red shards with nearby Season Guides, like Village of Dreams, getting something like a hug or a high five from them is a full heal. Take full advantage of them.

Bring a friend if you can, too. There are hard shard events out there, like Sanc or Treehouse shards. Friends can go a long, long way to help you deal with them.

No worries! Honestly, for the most part, shards aren’t mandatory; that’s five WL you can honestly skip easy enough if you don’t feel confident enough to do them. And the Shattering questline is really nothing special, either.

Shards are usually a few realms behind - I think right now, they’re three behind?
If a black shard crops up in Valley, always go for that - that’s absurdly easy wax. 9/10 times, the shard will be clear before you even get down the hill. And even the 1/10 times it’s not, it’s not a hard shard in the first place.

For me, it started off as just The Lorekeeper, then it became Lorekeeper of Wyverns after I was feeling fancy one day… then I eventually ran into username troubles and I switched to DracoLorekeeper full time out of frustration.

Funny thing is, you can actually see how the name has evolved because of my relationships with online friends - people who knew me during the Wyverns area tend to call me Lore, while people nowadays tend to default to Draco. It’s really quite interesting.
