Discuss: I submitted this to live-feedback: While I understand the logic behind adjusting the chevron and wax count to help players who get 20 candles every day, I feel that this change is hurting sky's economy and encourages grinding which was the whole point of you guys implementing the chevron system. Unfortunately, people don't want to spend money on candles only; I know that focusing on bundling IAPs with candles would be significantly more profitable than trying to force players to candle run for 3 hours for 20 candles. People don't want to buy the 15 candle pack because there isn't anything special that comes with it. Personally, I think that adding candles back to IAPs would 1. Increase the volume of people getting the cosmetic 2. Make people feel like they are still benefiting even if they don't love the IAP but need candles, & 3. because people are getting really fed up (on Discord, in game, on Reddit, and everywhere else Sky is discussed) with how overly expensive things are. I present a few solutions here because I am warning you that if things continue how they are going, people will stop paying for cosmetics and passes since they are quitting the game. Most importantly though, players are losing their emotional connection to each other because they are forced to use all of their candles on cosmetics instead of friendships. For example, I had to choose between unlocking chat with a new friend and getting the TS's cape. I felt awful about it, and they did too. Right now, the candle economy is punishing players who upgrade friendships instead of buying cosmetics, while the whole point of Sky is to create a social experience for players.

Part 2: Please discuss this: Solution 1: Add tokens or "friendship fragments" that unlock special cosmetics. This would reward players for upgrading their relationships instead of punishing them. Solution 2: Decrease the cost of cosmetics. This is the easiest solution, but it is also likely to hurt profits. Solution 3: Bundle cosmetics with candles. (Discussed above). Solution 4: Increase candle cap to 25, remove chevrons to make candle running faster, and keep prices the same. Solution 5: Slash the amount of wax to get 20 candles by 50%, taking only 2000 wax instead of 4150. This would allow prices to remain the same, and would reduce burnout that leads to players quitting. Also, reintroducing catch up packs would be great for new players, bundling multiple cosmetics together and taking 20-30% off the total cost if they were bought separately. This last suggestion is pretty radical but it's also my favorite: How about making previous and current IAPs cheaper? From a statistics standpoint, if you have 1,000 people buy a $5 item, you get $5000 bucks. But if you only have 100 people buying a $20 dollar item, you only make $2,000 bucks. After closely observing your numbers and profits (comparing against inflation in real life), I calculated that you would make statistically significant more money by lowering the cost of IAPs. I love the idea of lower cost of IAPs...There would be def people who would complain ab tgc suddenly making previous IAPs cheaper. Let’s say the snowflake cape - they made it $10 now but those who bought it for $15 are gonna riot bc it was unfair and by doing this, they’re gonna say that TGC “stole”$5 from them. TGC would claim this unfair (but then they've been doing a lot of "unfair" things recently...)

Like I honestly wouldn’t mind; I have the snowflake and bought it for 15 ($20 actually in CAD) but that ain’t the point. I would like to benefit future players than riot over sometning that’s happened in the past. My view at least on this

There should def be cafch up packs for returning and new players. I know there’s that starter pack but… honestly… who actually buys it? It should offer something flashier than just a base cape; that would incentivize players to spend their $. I also dont think there's ever been discounts on prices, so thats an extra incentive for people to buy their stuffs

I also feel it’s be good to start having candle packs for ac. Let’s say in an emergency, you accidentally spent all your ac from the eden trip and you can’t get anymore, no shards… emergency bc it’s a ts you really want but you can’t unlock the wing buff…

But voila! You can just buy an ac pack. Ofc it would justify a more $ price but it’s a solid idea

I skimmed through this but I think friendship fragments would do more harm than good. I always hate when games give you rewards for making friends or try to entice you to do it because it feels fake. I make friends because I want to, not because I'll get a prize. If I knew someone only friended me to get a cosmetic I'd feel absolutely terrible.

No I totally agree. Something that's stuck with me was from when the Aurora concert premiered when I'd saved up 150 candles to buy the green pants and was almost at 200, and I chose to spend a good chunk of it to be able to hug my group of friends before the concert instead. I don't regret it, but I don't think it was a decision I should have had to make.

i find you dont have to tecnically block anyone (unless theyre bein rude), you just gotta go into a realm then go home to "refresh" your constellation so you can see your other friends
