Red shard event in the area with the belonging table (where grandma servers wax orbs).
It's infamous because the area's too cramped to dodge shard crabs, and then you have to burn the dark plants to get the light shards for the second part. And no matter how much you burn and collect, it never ends.

I did the same back when I first played. When I found some new spirits in an area and I knew there was a spirit gate in the previous section, I would often go back to explore that area a little more

Just enjoy the game at your own pace. See the sights, explore around. And I will advise though if you find someone exploring the golden wasteland, it's not a bad idea to follow them

Chibis are sky children avatars who are wearing the chibi mask. There's a game style called "chibi-falling" where you can no-clip through certain walls thanks to their small size. This way, you could actually skip doors or switches which usually requires another player. Chibis can sometimes be seen as a menace by the community because they could be veteran players who would ignore helping people.

I am not saying all chibis are bad people. The community just sees them as pure chaotic energy, and when you're small, you really feel like that xD

Hard to say. I personally really like the pants, but I also understand that they might be a little tricky to match. But this is the first pants spirit in five months. Horns might be a little easier to match, and might save you a few candles? I guess just whatever you see yourself using more.

If I may suggest, the pants look decent with scarf-style capes. So maybe try TLP scarf/cat tail/Aurora capes with them?

Have you done the Enchantment questline? If you finish it, you’ll be able to exchange AC at the Forgotten Ark for them. I think it’s 2 resizes for 10 AC.
