Honestly, Harmony Hall is great! Much as it’s a pain on the ears, it’s actually a ton of fun to go there just to play music. I’ve taken to going down lately and playing music from the top floor.

Once you get more used to it, it’s not so bad! I used to be intimidated my it myself, but I resolved to learn it.
Typically, if I’m making the ascent, I tend to collect up a bunch of moths along the way and help out the best I can.

@glass cosmos Have you been to the big table in that one tree in Hidden Forest? Every second hour, a spirit spawns there who serves up food you can burn for wax. Her next visit will be in seven minutes.

One of the guide(?) spirits who offers you up to 1000 wax in Hidden Forest every other hour. It’s one of the quickest ways to get candles.

Explanation.

There was an oob manta, I'm assuming it was there for the last cutscene of the flight quests. I noticed it and deemed it "The Black Angel", I would visit it almost every day until I finished the quests.

I stood there in silence, seeing her empty presence. She was gone. Lost to time, only being shown to those newest to the world. She was taken from my sight, left back to heaven where she had once lived.
I miss her.

This is true by the way- It was an actual oob manta, if you haven't finished the flight quests you can see her yourself! She's behind the island to the left of the one the lively navigator is on!

yeah the issue is that you start off spending a little amount, and you think "nah this is fine, it's just a little bit" but now you already have an incentive to keep playing, which in turns gives the game more opportunities to lure you into spending. it can very quickly spiral until you think "ive already spent so much money and time on this game, if i quit now it'll all have been for nothing" which is exactly what happened to me im glad you're able to restrict yourself! keep it up, don't give in to predatory monetization!

This might sound strange, but if you can’t fall asleep right away, my personal trick is to just do something with one eye closed. Read a book in low light, for instance. I find that that one closed eye tricks my brain into wanting to sleep, so when I try again, it doesn’t take very long after.

oh no I was trying to be funny it’s VERY simple compared to the guitar part of that song which is actually difficult. I always play the flute and my girlfriend does the guitar. It all started During (or rather before) Season of Abyss. The abyss spirits were looking for treasure their entire life, and I was one of them!

For months, we searched the seas for great treasure, but to no avail. All the islands we found were either inhabited by krills, or the Banned skykids trying to escape. I wasn't the first to leave the crew, that was Assembly guide, but I stole their boat in search of a place to rest...

...Then cackling canoneer shot the ship, and it crashed

Not knowing of any wood I could use to fix the ship (and because I was too lazy), I settled down in my new broken house, and gazed at the stars every night before falling asleep. That is, until I had the brilliant idea of collecting the stars.

It only started as a few: I liked the look and feel of them in my hands, but sure enough, my want for more quickly spiralled out of control, and I eventually found myself with millions of them.
(I store them in the sky, they're much too big to bring home)

Catching wind of my impressive Star collection, an anonymous tip (It was definitely Gloating Narcissist) would, every now and again, offer to buy my stars for a hefty price. They were the one to really introduce me to the idea of making money from my stars.

And that's when I officially joined the Season of Little Prince group shortly before it began as their 6th spirit, so that I could sell my Stars to anyone who was interested!

Eventually, I raised enough money to be able to afford internet, and now here I am!

Usually with a player I don’t have chat unlocked yet, I’ll use the peek or shy emote to try to communicate that I’m not the best when it comes to social stuff. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.

@rustic cairn I usually just goof off. Go to Harmony Hall to play instruments, stack some crabs somewhere, maybe even just sit and chill in the wind paths.

As for where you find moths - I think your best bet is in Prairie, Wasteland or Eden.

And possibly any of the realm temples!

I TRY to help them but so far I’ve adopted two moths who quit right after starting, one moth who doesn’t accept my candles for unlocking chat, and a full on veteran who played for a year, quit for a year, and recently came back and had no cosmetics… therefore looking like a moth😭

But some stay and continue to play and you basically watch em grow up
