Welcome back to sky! Basically every once and a while shards will fall from the sky and when you cleanse the darkness around the shard, you'll be rewarded ac if it's a red shard and regular candles if it's a black shard.

basically, if it looks like the apocalypse in your favourite nice happy realm, or if you're in wasteland and suddenly Can't See At All, it means either a shard has just appeared somewhere, or you just walked into an area with a shard. so if you go to home and the stone archway to a realm is a bit of a mess, the shard's somewhere there

...also red shards are rough. i prefer eden. and they buffed eden

for context on the buff: you get knocked down if you take damage with no charged stars and you lose 6 wl when you get krilled instead of just 3 i think that might scale with how much total wl you have though

Yea, it does scale. The lower your wl count is, the less wl you'll lose. So right now I have like 154 wl, I'll lose 5-6 winged light when I get krilled. While as if it's 20 wl, then I'll lose only 2 winged light.

If it helps out with that at all, typically when I listen to music while working on, say, writing or the like, it's video game music. That tends to keep me engaged most. For art or Sky, though, it's open to about anything that fits the what I'm doing most. It just helps to keep my entertained when doing something monotonous, too, so I'm maybe slacking off to vibe every few minutes rather than simply giving up five minutes in because I'm bored.

Nede is one of the most sacred places for the Children of the Light. Very rarely does an outsider ever actually see the island, much less walk on it. The Children of the Light were unusually very picky about who comes and who doesn’t.

When Kuki received the invitation, she was beyond honored. It was finally her turn to visit Nede.
And whatever expectations she had were ultimately shattered. Nede was even more stunning than the rumors suggested.

The grass is dominated by wildflowers and tidepools scattered about the shoreline. The island seemed almost completely untouched.

There were, of course, obvious signs of settlements (not to mention all the Skykids already there): hammocks, tents, fire pits, etc. But it didn’t subtract from the environment, only added to the splendor.

Her escort, who just so happens to be one of her students, led her to a tent situated beside a small koi pond.

After she had unpacked all of her things, Kuki decided to meditate by the pond. She stayed like that for what seemed like hours.

Suddenly, she felt warmth bloom across her leg. Curious, Kuki eased out of her trance and looked down.

It took almost all of her willpower to not coo at the moth sleeping in her lap and accidentally wake them up.

She did, however, stroke their hair, which seemed to send them into an even deeper sleep.

Without warning, another moth plopped down next to her and started snoozing. And then another.

And another.

And so on.

By the time the sun crossed the horizon, Kuki was essentially dogpiled by a hoard of conked-out moths. Not that she was complaining.

Although she may combust due to the sheer cuteness.

Needless to say, it made a great story to tell the other prophets (Kasai was intensely jealous, the moths never went near him without their guardian).

Waste has black cape, olive green cape, and fireworks staff.

It really depends on which u like better. Valley has two elder hairs, while Waste has only one.

||So I kind of headcanon that although skids can go through Eden multiple times, they will always forget what happens there. So basically when they get reborn, everything from the moment they step into Eden until they go through the gate will be erased from their memories. What will be left is their gut instinct or feeling they've experienced in Eden. Hence skids often fear Eden.||

Okay now that people actually took interest in my thoughts, I'm feeling a bit shy and flustered but in a good way

||I like the idea but I also wonder if it could be where they remember, but understand that their death sucks, and that it's a path of sacrifice. I guess you could also argue it differs between player behavior. My skid fears death cause she only goes occasionally. Others go every week, and are desensitized. ||

@devout pilot I'd personally say quite cosy! It has its own less pleasant or insatiable people, but I find that they're on a far smaller scale than most fandoms, so most likely you tend to see the really chill side of the fandom first and foremost.

I imagine the skycord as a big country or continent or a couple states
Cozy is a small calm village that is really kind to its villagers, gen-chat is a massive city like New York where all the crazy stuff happens. I'm not sure about other socials, Twitter is a regular town you'd visit when traveling long distances, nothing to severe happening until you get to that side of town, which holds the fanfiction sites/apps( )
The beta chat is a really technically advanced place maybe like Tokyo or something
