True! There's some things about Sky that could add to it, but I suppose I see Sky as a game about restoration and rejuvenation, so my Sky OCs tend to be fairly mentally healthy as a result.

The closest thing either of my OCs has to trauma is Shadow's extreme caution, and they have good reason for that - they literally live in the realm where everything's trying to bean them! Besides that, they're just a kid that likes plants.

Sometimes desync happens while Im on this manta boat and I just find myself on a boat with a manta until the it finds the boat again

out of universe it's because i just prefer drawing characters with animal masks as furries in-universe it's because this takes place in an au where power diamonds corrupt things and if you're exposed to too much at once you fuse into your mask at first it only affected miners and people who lived in forest and wasteland but when eden exploded it turned the entire kingdom into furries (except people with flat masks i guess, i didnt think about that )

that's the only official requirement, but if you look at the sky wiki you can see that there's an extra requirement that there has to have been at least one spirit from the preceding season, which means it's highly unlikely we'll get any abyss spirits until we've seen at least one flight spirit
technically i suppose it's possible to get a flight spirit and an abyss spirit for the first time during mischief, but we only just had the first tlp spirit return fairly recently

For me: Sky actually doesn't rank surprisingly high. It's a game I love, but not my overall favourite. My top three are: Metroid Prime, Okami, and Stardew Valley. And full series I love are Pokemon and The Legend of Zelda.
