Yeah cuz I accept BoTW, and TotK of course. Genshin I've come to accept too. But so many other games can't do it right at all and they have no reason to be open world.
Tbh, my biggest disappointment was Halo. I LOVED Halo back in the day, but this new one, I was so sad that it was open world. I just wanted a story, as it ALWAYS WAS, about Chief and Cortana, but nooooooooo, has to have a whole exploration system and stuff.

I didn’t actually realise you were on hiatus, sorry, so welcome back!

Basically, Season of Shattering introduced a new mechanic where shards fall on the realms, and by cleaning them up, you can get regular wax from black shards on Mon-Thur or ascended candles from red shards on Fri-Sun. That’s what the compensation is for - the shards at Forest are broken, so we were given AC for a red shard that didn’t give any. They’ve also been removed from the rotation.

The next season is a collab season: Season of Aurora, though we don’t have a release date for it yet. A teaser trailer was dropped, though, confirming it. And the next event, Lazy Days, actually starts tomorrow!

That’s another bug, I think - if you light a candle after accepting light from your constellations, the wax will contribute to your hearts, too.

That I’m definitely not complaining about, though! Free light is incredibly helpful. Mind, I think it’s a set amount, though, so a candle cake won’t get you more.

During the krill memory, the moth I adopted (who was not a moth anymore, but will always be a moth in my mind on account of how young they are) started climbing the krill with me and we eventually decided that we wanted to get to the top of the diamond. We spent awhile trying to figure out how to do this (we eventually used rocket glitch) and then we got to the top of the diamond and it wasn't completely pointed at the top, there was a place where a shard would have broken off and so we were standing on the flat top of the Eden diamond. We took so many screenshots and had so much fun.

Okay so. When I was a moth, I was... Like... Really obsessed with Forest. I had gotten through Isle, gotten through Prairie, and after going through Prairie and knowing I must have missed a bunch, I decided that I was gonna scour every inch of Forest and find all the stuff.

Unfortunately, I found that there was a certain light bloom that would launch me so high I would fly over the top of the stage and it'd reset me back at the entrance. I went back to see if this glitch was replicable, and like... I did this so many times. It was hilarious.

I also asked my friend who had introduced me to Sky (and thus was my "veteran who adopted me) to fill out bug reports about this, since I knew he was on Skycord but I wasn't yet. He said no, partly because he didn't have the technical build info for my phone, partly because he couldn't replicate the glitch himself, and partly because he was getting increasingly exasperated that I had spent like two weeks in Forest and not moving on to the next realm

Okay, so, I joined Skycord in February of 2021. Days of Love was going on, and I was awkwardly chiming in occasionally cause I was intimidated by all the frequent members.

Except then, the quest happened.

The quest was Meditate at the Boat. Except this was either the first time it had appeared or the first time it had appeared in, like, a year. So everyone was baffled. And keep in mind that this is at 12-3 AM for many people in chat (2 AM for me) which... Probably influenced our decision-making skills. Anyways, genchat ran around in a panic, trying to figure out where "the boat" was. All the while (and after we had found it, too), we were screaming about THE BOAT! T H E B O A T) and other various versions of us saying "boat" in goofy ways. So anyways, I changed my name to "That Weirdo Boatgirl" and then all of a sudden, people started addressing me in chat as Boat, or Boatgirl. I realized that since Boatgirl had already solidified in people's minds as my name, I might as well run with it, and now I'm Boatgirl™.

ooh congrats! picking an online alias (im assuming thats what this is) is pretty difficult imo. fun fact for all you old coziers (haha old moment) i used to be called milk. maybe you remember my display being named Milk Moff, i used to tell weird stories about creation of sky creatures, etc etc. i was normally a gen chatter and only came to cozy to tell stories.

So I basically had no online alias when I first got online on anything. Was just my name and that was pretty much it. Though I was heavily into the Minecraft sphere with my cousins. I started to mess with redstone and became a builder for a small server. My main job as a builder was small houses and boats, pirate ships to be exact. My first ever boat however was this small Little Red Boat. And I've stuck with that username everywhere. As I grew older and even now I've wanted to get rid of the Boat part of my name, so my online name has gone through way too many iterations than I can remember. And now I just stick with Lil' Red.

Cozy's Paimon on the other hand came from here in cozy. I don't exactly remember who I was joking around with, but we were on Genshin talk and I took the side of Paimon in an argument. Of course the argument being if Paimon is emergency food or not. And then I changed my server name to be Cozy's Paimon and I just stuck with it.

But “Lorekeeper” always ended up being taken, so I eventually lengthened it to “Lorekeeper of Wyverns” - but then that was too long for both Minecraft and Pokemon Go, so that then got shortened down to DracoLorekeeper. And here we are.

That’s admittedly why I identify more as ‘Lore’ - I started off as Lorekeeper, so my friends started calling me that. But I absolutely don’t mind being called Draco, either!

Long ago in a galaxy far far away, my username was not ritzmonster. It’s been this way for (maybe) 4 years now. Or as long as I’ve had discord. Anyways, back in 2018 when I was dating my boyfriend (now ex) helped me come up with a list of usernames. To name a few there was sushiroll, ritzcracker, mochibun, etc. I ended up going with ritzcracker. So, from then on people would call me “Ritz” as you see now both on discord and Sky. But when we parted ways, I despised the name “ritzcracker” as you would understand. However, I didn’t want people to be confused with addressing me. So, when I changed my name I combined “Ritz” with “CookieMonster” (a Sesame Street character). And henceforth, “ritzmonster” was born.
