I always use IbisPaintX, it’s free and you get access to all the brushes if you watch an ad or two
It’s a little hard to work with just fingers, but I think that applies to all drawing apps on iPhones lol

Good question! I'm assuming since you replied to me you're using IbisPaintX for the coloring sheet lol

IbisPaintX has a very good layering system. If you look down at the bottom right, beside the arrow that lets you leave the art piece, there's a few layered white squares with a number. This is the layering option. If you click it, you can make a new layer, and you can move them up or down by tapping and holding the three gray lines on the right of each layer.

It's easiest to layer when you have the transparent version of the coloring sheet, which most on here have. In that case, simply save it and import it onto a layer (using the little camera icon in the same menu), then make a layer directly below it. This will allow you to put color underneath the black lineart if you're on that lower layer. You can name them "lineart layer" and "color layer", if it helps you.

If your coloring sheet isn't transparent, though, that's workable too! When selecting your brush, there should also be an option in that popup menu labeled "magic wand". Once you've made a layer with your coloring sheet, stay on that layer and choose "magic wand". Start clicking the white areas, and a dotted line will appear around them. You've now selected these white areas. Up top, there should be a dotted square icon. Click that, then select "cut". This will remove the white areas. (It's easier if you have a layer beneath the coloring sheet layer that's colored, so you can see where you've removed the white.) In that same dotted square icon menu, you can then hit "remove selection area" to get rid of that dotted line. If you make a mistake during this process, don't worry! There's a convenient "undo" button in the top left!

I'm unsure about on desktop since I don't use it, but on mobile, if you tap on the name of the current chanel you're in, it'll take you to another page that says "members, media, pins, links, and files". Scroll and find the one you want, then download or and then you can either import it into your drawing program of choice or print it out to color traditionally!

3 year coloring style update? I took an oil painting class which ended up refueling my relationship with ibis paint and changing my painting style, so i tried another coloring page to test it out, but i wasn't that satisfied with it so I went with this one again

This was my first attempt at cell shading! I finished everything but the water fairly quickly, then tried, and t r i e d, and tried again, to get the water right. Still not happy with it (insert lv. 4 grumpy hiker emote here) but I am proud of my efforts, and I feel done with it, so up it goes!
