If you mean the anti-aliasing, then it's sorta there for all android phones. Even at max settings.

On the screenshot issue. Here are some zoomed in game camera shots (not screenshots, but images with in game camera) back shot with barely any laising lines is from July 14th and the front shot with laising lines on the capes was taken on July 22nd. That's the time span I have on when Snapdragon devices started having the "stairstep" laising lines in their screenshots. If you check the patch notes around those times, they did "optimizations" for those who were crashing in sanctuary when trying to take a screenshot. I think those optimizations could be the culprit. This is all speculation and can use more research.

It looked way better during enchantment though...

This was me dropping voltage table to be in line with another manufacturer's phone that has the same CPU/GPU in it. (My Z2 Force and the Pixel 2 both use the snapdragon 835, no reason for this voltage bump.) I am sure yours is the same if I checked it's kernel and compared to another device with the same CPU.

Motorola phones aren't engineered to be used at full throttle for longer than 15mins. Their testing is just to make sure features work and it can "game" for 15mins, then release the code. They have a relatively small team of engineers compared to devices they have. It takes weeks to make them follow GPL and release kernel sources... Trust me, I've submitted requests quite regularly for the Z2 Force/Nash phone. (I have threatened reporting GPL violations at least 3 times in two years of using that phone)

Only thing I could suggest, is have them make sure they have linked their account with Google or Facebook via game settings and account option. Once they link their account, uninstall the game and reinstall from the play store. Start up the game and login to the method they linked with, select "abandon current progress" and see if the constellation buttons pop up.

If they are a new player, I think those buttons don't pop up until they at least clear forest or valley, iirc.

In fact adjusting the resolution actually doesn't affect performance on Sky all that much... It helps with some latency on the A20 but doesn't increase the frame rate any... Why was the resolution decreased anyway? To prevent overheating? Phones do that anyway

It most likely is due to vRAM limits. You can reduce resolution, but the device still needs to keep all those items in memory. Example is vault and all the moving pieces that are loaded out of bounds that move in bounds depending on the floor you're on, if you lit the lamps, etc

The GPU needs to keep track of all objects in a given space. It's to keep realism when your camera isn't facing the object. Imagine a moving car, look away and back. It shouldn't stay at the same place. It should have moved. That takes computation power of the GPU.

A secure connection could be the cause of crashing cause when I tired to enter while continuously toggling between using net and not using net I could login for sometime. But after I stopped toggling, the game crashed again.

My friend and I use a Huawei and Samsung s8 respectively, but our games lag big time when we play. Any tips for smoother game play? Dunno if the issue is with our phones or our internet... or both 🤕

One of the most prominent reasons for lag on devices that would otherwise be more than capable is too many things running in the background. There's some settings located in the developers options to help force applications from running in the background that don't need to be. These settings will prevent notifications from social media apps. And it is recommended to set them back to default when done.

It depends on the processor

The Snapdragon 435 is an octa-core processor, but not capable of playing sky.

Compatibility on the processor side involves 64-bit arm with neon support. And the GPU must be able to support Vulkan 1.0.3 or higher

Yeah at the beginning of Android 11... I'm currently using Android 11 and am experiencing no issues

Though it seems one of the more recent issues with Android 11 seems to be large text specifically on Samsung devices

But that probably has to do with the way they handle things not Android 11... So I'm guessing it's more OneUI 3.0 instead

Now I can officially say that all three of my devices don't crash... I have a Samsung Galaxy A20, Samsung Galaxy S7, and a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G. All of which load in the game just fine...

The S series phones are snapdragon and the a20 is an exynos

Ah yes snapdragon 625 for mine :') gets hot fast playing sky but not burning hot like I've felt it run occasionally. However quite quite laggy www it's not handicapping laggy tho, at least imo

I do use my fingerprint scanner a lot now due to it being under the screen instead of on the back... But face unlock is never used... And I still end up unlocking my phone via my code

Android 9 below doesn't support internal sound recording but some manufacturers like Samsung or Huawei have built-in screen recorders in the notification panel which do allow that.

If you have android 10 above and no default screen recorder, try using third-party apps like Mobizen or Screen recorder no ads by Kimcy. Make sure to configure the app settings.

you'll need to get a phone with a built in screen recorder (starting with Android 10 or higher, all phones have this) and use the one built in
if you can't do that, buy a headphone splitter and an aux cord
