They don't supply you the game, they supply the launcher and some basic resources. Then it downloads a lot of files and starts. Then, after starting, it downloads a lot of files again and starts.

It's times like having 60 FPS I wish I didn't do some stupid things to my Z2 Force. The SD835 would have been able to play 60 FPS. Let's just say, 2 years of development experiments kinda burned out the eMMC. Now stuck with 30 fps on my Pixel 3a.

If you redmi 9 is on Android 9 or above, keeping it fully charged and plugged in can help reduce phone heat. Most heat you feel is due to battery charge/drain. If you keep your battery fully charged and your phone plugged in, Android 9+ has a feature called "battery idle mode" that will bypass the battery and directly pull electricity from your charger port if plugged in and fully charged.

The game only makes sure you pass basic integrity, not the full CTS suite. There are a few things checked in the CTS suite. The most basic is the integrity check. This makes sure your device is running official software from your phone manufacturer and to make sure nothing is tampered with (a/b verity and SElinux) these are basic checks any competent company would want their app to check.

The more in depth check you're thinking of is CTS profile which can be forced to pass with various methods.

If a device can't pass basic integrity, you purposely modified your device way past OEM specifications.

Sadly, the Helio G90 only has 4 compute units (Mali G76 MP4). Not even as fast as the Adreno 618 which isn't 60 FPS capable either.

Sadly, that is how Mali GPUs work. The one that supports 60 fps is the MP8 or higher or the ones with 8 or more compute units, not the MP4

That's also why there is italicized text saying "some versions of these GPUs aren't 60 fps capable."

Edit: MP and MC are the same thing on Mali. Media Processors or Media Clusters. Same thing and interchangeable. Benchmark sites use MP while OEMs call them MC.

Are you on the Android 11 update? I would suggest checking with Xiaomi on why your phone is failing the "Google CTS suite." You need to pass that to be able to download and install Sky. This isn't the first time I heard a Xiaomi on Android 11 failing CTS. Seems they didn't make the update correctly and Google is saying it isn't a secure device.

For snapdragon phones, the lasing lines are pretty bad. It carries over to in game screenshots also. Lemme try and find Dreamfyre's bug report on it.

In general, the game was built for iOS and adapted to work with android mainly due to Vulkan and openCL being somewhat universal. Only downside is a good chunk of Android devices use an outdated Vulkan driver meaning some nice additions on higher driver versions aren't used for compatibility.

Example, Vulkan 1.0.3 or higher is supported for Android. iOS uses 1.1.0 (as of Oct 2020) and android 11 uses 1.1.128 That's a big difference in optimized code.

i updated to miui 12 yesterday and now a bunch of things on the sky ui are a weird muddy brown (my text, the "complete" quest screen)
honestly i know why this happens (dark mode got an update and theres a bunch more settings that ive looked at) but i cant turn it off for sky specifically even though i was able to for discord? yeah uhhh

I did notice they did some things to help reduce heat in the last update... In addition to Performance was increased on lower end hardware. (Not in frame rate but in input latency)

Because of battery chemistry, keeping a bettery above or below 50% of charge for a long time (3.8V, it's called storage voltage) technically hurts it

It has to do with positive and negative electrons. Batteries work by transferring the positive electrons through the machine from one side to the other. Batteries have two sides. when you charge your battery and pushes all of the positive electrons to one side... And then while it's discharging those electrons are going through the device and going into the other side. Went at 50%, there is an equal number of positive and negative electrons on both sides of the battery.

That's especially true on high power batteries like on drones and stuff like that

On a phone tho sadly you can't really do much about it
