@tired flint Sorry for the late response, I play on a Samsung A70 (A71 is a newer model I believe) and it runs.. decently. Before patch 0.9.5 it ran quite well on boosted 30fps, now I have to use energy saving mode in the live version because of overheating and lag/lantecy.
||However, I am a beta tester and it runs much better, being able to play at boosted 30fps just like I used to before in live. I presume these improvements will be implemented to the live version soon.||
It's a pretty solid phone, sure was an improvement for me, though be aware of the overheating and general lag in Shipwreck. It isn't as bad as some other devices, but it is quite annoying.

The visuals are probably for the best. The lowest graphics are undoubtedly going to be the worst quality. Lower-end devices will greatly benefit from this.

Something strange happened to me with Google play and sky.
Don't worry this is not a complaint I did fix it.
But whenever I tryed to install the update. It would popup that menu that shows up whenever you don't have any space.
Except none of the apps were selected and it defaulted to ready. The only problem was the continue button was greyed out.
So I proceeded to delete a few apps that I did not need.
And when it uninstalled them the menu pop right back up like nothing changed except the apps were gone.
So I restarted my phone and try it again and it started to download.
And then it stopped at 3% and sat there.
I restarted it several times and it just sat there at 3% for like an hour.
E V E N T U A L L Y it downloaded the rest and installed the update.
But I'm still wondering what was going through my phone at that time...

Looking at the data used can be misleading
It will tell you how much data was used from every app downloaded and all the pictures and icons that it loaded in the time period that you have selected.

@naive pollen makes sense. It's possible they nuke the graphics when on the lowest settings causse you probably turned it on to cool down your phone and extend battery life.

I think they only reduced the resolution, reflections still should be there. This game doesn't use ray tracing for reflections. They are hard coded

@wheat pollen whenever I try to offer friendship upgrades it always bugs for me and almost always cancels it, even though my friend accepted the offer. It might be that your friend need to accept the pass offer within the first 2 seconds, before it bugs out, or what chlo mentioned

Hi guys! I was able to play normally before the latest patch came out. So when I saw a new update telling me my phone isn't compatible, I thought of uninstalling and installing the game again and that might fix it. To my surprise, now I can't even install the game. There were steps that you could follow posted in the pinned messages.
Force close all applications
Pull down the notification bar on your Android device and hit the gear-shaped settings icon, or find “Settings” in the application tray.
Navigate to Apps, or App Manager.
Scroll down and find Google Play Store.
Tap Clear Cache and Clear Data.
Repeat steps for Google Play Games and Google Play Services
Power your device completely down (do not hit the Restart button)
BE SURE TO LINK YOUR SKY ACCOUNT TO GOOGLE TO SAVE YOUR PROGRESS
Launch Google Play Store and try reinstalling/updating Sky
If it still shows up incompatible, close the Google Play Store again and wait a little while before checking back.

Clearing the data is effectively reinstalling the game.
If your progress was saved locally it would be lost.
If it's connected to a Google account you won't even have to log back in. It will already know who you are.

@drifting current There may be regional server issues happening at the moment. The only thing you can do is wait for it to clear up on its own.
You may also send in a bug report so TGC knows to look into the frequency of server issues

Hi, whenever I try to enter anywhere from shipwreck or when I try to enter battlefield from anywhere (shipwreck or graveyard) my screen becomes black/white and freezes and the after a minute or so, the game closes itself, is there a problem with my device or is this a bug, I have other friends too who experience the same thing

TCG is working on fixing it in future updates. It's proven to be more challenging than initially thought for them. In the meantime all we can do is restart the game (and clearing sky's cache)
It's also a more common occurance for mid range to low end androids. Although ios have been experiencing it too

if nothing seems to work, and you want to get into battlefield, asking a friend to go to the fortress (where the spirit is) and joining them usually works

Toggle your devices network connection off and on and reloading the app fresh also helps. I kept getting the black screen on wasteland and doing that helped

it seems my game got pixelated/blurred suddenly, no matter the graphics options I choose. I have a S11 plus, last android. Anyone with the same thing?

you can try waiting a bit, going home and returning, restarting the game etc

this is odd, the snapshot looks great and in high res, but the game still looks low-res

Probably because the game can afford many frames worth of time to render the snapshot

Achieving great graphics fidelity in a single frame is easier when compared to x frames per second
Hence TGC took the opportunity and made it so screenshots generally look better than gameplay

I posted this in eden spoilers, but Wren suggested I might have more luck here. My Pixel 3 is having trouble processing eden. ||When I get to the red crystals, rocks, and climbing the pipes with the dragons, it lags registering my movements, often leading to me losing winged light||. I'm not going to blame it all on my phone since I know it's also a lack of skill on my part. I'm just wondering if anyone else experienced the same and have figured out a diz6

All you can really do is either lower your resolution from your device's built-in display settings or adjust the in-game graphics setting
