Was checking on my old Xiaomi phone. It should be in settings/apps, once you select your app the option should be in the "advanced" section, or in permissions

If u press the "recent apps" button and long press the app icon u can get there quicker

You're going to want to go into your settings.
Click on apps or applications.
You can click the three dots in the top corner of your screen. sometimes it will say apps that appear on top sometimes it will say special access.
Whichever it is you click that. Find Google play services. And enable it there.

Google play games doesn't actually ask for the permission. You have to Grant it to Google play services.

Alternatively from apps you could scroll down to Google play services and enable the setting in there.

Also, i think it always redirects you to app permissions whenever it needs the permission. Idk how that failed for you

Wait... A thought just hit me regarding screen recording and internal audio.
so whenever you cast your screen to another device using Wi-Fi direct the sound goes with it. Which means the capability of recording the sound within the Android phone is possible. Hmm. Just a thought.

It depends on your device.
If your account is saved via Google having two Google accounts on your phone may cause it to ask which one you want to use. However you may run into the problem with it remembering your old account. It so I wouldn't recommend clearing the data. The best option to be able to switch between two accounts on your device would be to use something like parallel space.

It will allow a second copy of the game to exist on your device without using extra data and have two accounts that you could actually use simultaneously.

However be careful because having two account is against the terms of service.

Sky requires Android 8 or higher. So if your device is running an Android version any lower it will not run the game. The device also has to have 3 gigabytes of RAM or more.

Most phones will overheat. My recommendation is sitting a safe place, take it out of its case. If you're doing an extended game session, actively press the back of the phone on a cold surface. (Without water) also a fan can help.

These methods have worked for me in different games. On devices prone to overheat when scrolling through the web.

One way you can extend the time before overheating you play the game on minimum settings.

Also playing the game while charging is a major instigator for overheating.

There's not much you can really do to improve it except lower the graphics settings.

I've had the opposite experience, my game has smoothed more since the latest updates. But then again my device can't play on Max settings anyway.

u can reduce overheating for a small perfomance improvement: set screen brightness on auto, dont use the phone while its charging, keep software up to date and if your phone case is trapping too much heat consider playing without the case, but be extremely careful @obsidian comet

I find that it helps using a lower resolution, performance mode (limit your play time though the battery gets really hot), disabling animations, turning off all background apps, basically all you can to dedicate your phone to your one true love errr... Sky.

Battery drain on graphically intense games is normal and it would be a bit foolish to expect the developers to try to get around that.

I almost always play the game on charge. Heat does occur, but I keep it under control. And so if I wanted to I could play the game all day.

And here's a little information. (Bear with me). If you check the performance statistics of your device while playing sky, you'll find that this game is almost all graphic. For my device specifically (Samsung Galaxy A20) the CPU utilization is around 6%, while GPU utilization is at 90%.

Also when I used Lv1 instead of Lv0 graphics its temp was 36°~39° depending on the map.

I have a weird one. So the default google games screen recorder USED to record game audio for me but as of the game's most recent update (not the recorder), it no longer works. Video only. Any ideas on how to fix it?

I actually found a SECOND default recording app and it had the option of "game audio" for audio source. ...and that one works. I dont know if it's a samsung only feature though. It was part of "game tools" and "game launcher" which seems redundant but at least this recorder doesnt have that stupid green icon lol. I will likely reinstall anyway though. Thank you <3

1. Pinging the community managers isnt something you should do as they might be busy but getting a ping might alarm them and disturb their work/peace.(it’s saturday).
   You should ping the devs only in case of extreme urgency with questions that can be answered only by them and with proper permissions from the elders first. Or you can ping them if they already gave you permission beforehand about the matter you’re sending here.
   If not you should not ping them like this.

2. Concerning the huawei problem it has been prevailing in several other games that they cannot be played/downloaded due to the banned access from the google services. It’s a problem that huawei should be fixing for their clients themselves and after providing a proper fix propose it to companies developing games. Tgc cannot really do anything about it and I doubt they will. The best solution is to be patient until something comes up on huaweis side/buy a new phone.

I just did a little experiment regarding performance.

The default resolution of my device is 720p. So I decided to, using ADB commands, increase the resolution to 1080p. No additional lag or performance loss was seen. Then I reduced the resolution to 480p, again no change in performance. This leads me to believe that the graphics chip in my device is not being fully utilized and that there is some other bottleneck that is causing lag. My performance monitor shows that my CPU hardly goes above 10% utilization.

Other games installed on my device improved in performance greatly when I lowered the resolution

These games include, but not limited to, Minecraft and Ark Survival Evolved.

I've updated the game from getting the apk from a 3rd party site, which let's me get pass the title screen at least.
But because its no longer linked to Google Play I only have access to Home and the first area.
All the other stages are in limbo because the downloaded stays at 0%

I don’t believe they will. Keep in mind though that compatibility isn’t based so mush on the software version of the device. It’s much more reliant on the power of the processor/gpu. You could have Android 9 or 10 but if your hardware is too underpowered it won’t matter.

@karmic mesa I've done some experiment from what you've said. And yeah, that helps me so much. Still there's a short delay on playing an instrument, but it did a good job on boosting the overall performance. I'd recommend it to all of Android users who has a performance issue (read: lagging). It's totally safe.

But you should change the DPI setting from the Developer option menu instead of using ADB, I guess. For someone who is not get used of it. First, you should REMEMBER the default setting for the Smallest width. Then, do some experiment by lowering the DPI a little by little. Try NOT to set it too much lower.

By default, mine is 392 dp. I've found that 320 dp is the best for me. Whenever we done playing, we should reset it back to the default, for convenience.

But, please do your own RISKS. Still not recommended it for the users who doesn't have any idea what they're doing for.
