Emmy, the game needs the minimum specs, even people with iPhones that meet requirements burn through their battery quickly and experience overheating.

Unfortunately if your phone isn't compatible and if doesn't meet minimum requirements then it can't run sky.

Yeah, but at least they can start the game. I believe my phone meets the minimum requirements, but the game crashes the second I launch it, at the dev's logo -- how powerful my CPU is doesn't dictate whether or not the game crashes, that's another issue

Hmm. Might just have to just wait for the game to be better optimized. There are a ton of Android phones and TGC has like 30ish staff members. They are a small indie company trying their best.

@lost gust The devs have stated before that compatibility is heavily based on the capabilities of the device’s processor. Even if you’re installing newer Android software your processor could simply be too outdated. The devs have to make a cut-off at some point and it’s very likely your device happened to fall under that cut-off.

@upper umbra There are some possible troubleshooting steps in the pins here. I’ve heard people say to clear the ram, or to clear the google play store cache. Hope that helps

if it doesn’t say 60fps when you tap that battery icon then unfortunately your device must not be able to handle it.

p20 lite will get this message when playing:

It's barely capable of running the game which is why you'll encounter issues.

mali-g76 has multiple versions, it'll depend on how many cores your version has to run 60fps. amusingly the p30 pro has poorer graphics ratings than the p30. i'm guessing there is other factors with its specific hardware that holds it back.

redmi note 8 pro is a solid mid-range. it's not 60fps capable but should run sky with ease.

We had considered excluding devices below the minimum ratings, but chose not to in order to reach a wider audience and the overall sentiment was that players would rather play in a less than ideal state than not play at all.

We're still trying to do incremental optimizations with every update/patch, but there's only so much we can do when the restrictions are due to the device itself.

Please don't discuss or encourage the use of APKs. Downloading copies of the game from any source other than the Google Play store is against the Terms of Service, is not a legitimate copy, and could contain malware. you can preview items from the closet, so i'm not sure what you mean by no preview option.
Regarding purchases, You will need to contact Google for a refund, you should receive an email for your purchase from google and there's usually a link to request a refund in that purchase receipt email.

You'll have to contact CS about refunding the item, Pearly. The items appear on the spirit as they will on you, so I'm not sure why you would think it would suddenly become glowy once you equipped it. and yes i realize the pattern is similar to the gold-trimmed version.

okay that's my mistake, i think we were working on trying to make the traveling spirit items show up in the preview but it caused problems with the closet.

unfortunately samsung galaxy note 8 couldnt reach 60 fps because i did profiling on my samsung note 8 gpu and its almost saturated 80% to 90% on 30fps furthermore that device tend to overheat after playing a period of time 70 to 80C on the CPU and 70 C on the GPU which throttles the performance making it drops lower than 26fps

i'm not an expert, but i know that sky is one of the most graphics-intensive mobiles games around right now. it should help to close any apps you have running in the background, if you haven't already.

Based on my observation when your ram is low the game is trying to save bit of ram as possible sometimes unloads the texts from the game which sometimes caused instability and crashes
even if you have plenty of ram usually those ram were used up for background app which fills up the ram

Hello, sorry to bother, I believe I'm having an issue with in-app purchase not going through.
I'm trying to buy the season pass pack, I get to the point where I'm asked for my fingerprint to validate the purchase, then nothing. Can't go further than that.
Works fine on another game.

Well in case anyone has the same issue, sounds like it's the biometrics not working properly.
Worked properly by disabling it and using password instead.

@pallid mountain I don't know about the lag but I had the poor graphics problem, I later found out I could adjust the quality of the graphics in settings. Maybe try that, thought it might not be related to the issue

@burnt rivet if they are getting a message that it’s incompatible then there’s nothing they can do. It’s not an issue that has to be fixed but that their devices just aren’t powerful enough to run the game

The headphones appear on your character when you play music or audio in another app while playing Sky. You can use them any time by putting on some tunes! (iOS only, until it's implemented for android)
