oh you can draw on really any digital device. it's the art program you use that'll make the biggest difference. the stylus you pinged me for is a knockoff apple pencil and I have an ipad air 4 used for some of my drawings but others are on my galaxy s22 phone. for instance I drew this entirely on my phone

what you'll wanna look for in the device is other features you might use like how much storage it has. I went with ipad so I could have devices on different platforms for app comparisons I used to own a samsung galaxy tab and the smaller screen was really nice for me. some people want big screens tho. its all personal preference on what features you want outside drawing. (the program I use on my ipad is ios exclusive: procreate. but there's lots of good programs on pc and android too)

the ipad air series is a bit cheaper than ipad and ipad pro series. if you're not looking for a beefy gaming experience and it's more for casual web browsing or drawing the ipad air series is a good way to go
