• I can’t do the shading you do at all
• I can’t do proper portions, arms/legs are too long, eyes sometimes are drawn off of the head, fingers are too long, etc
• I just cannot draw hands. At all. Even with refs. Just… no.
• Have I even mentioned the way you can do backgrounds, even if they’re simple? I can’t do backgrounds for the life of me
• Character design, the way you character design is absolutely amazing All of the complex details are stunning, I literally couldn’t replicate that /gen
• Your characters are very unique and I love the way you stylize them /gen

Depends on what ur going for! I quite like both, I can see the less saturated be more visually appealing as bright reds can be easily eyestraining, tho more saturated can help express the intensity (since it does look very intense) I think either can work quite nicely! (realized that this is terribly unhelpful LMAO, IT LOOKS GOOD!!)
ADDING ON, i do think the first one is better, still carries that intensity

The green shading looks good on that red, the second one looks almost black and gives less personality to the drawing in my opinion

well, here u go! they take like five seconds and it's really easy ; 2 curved intersecting lines, connect as you need, then shade one part. it helps you understand ribbons and translates to capes in a way i cant exactly explain.
