My advices are quiet weird since I never start with a basic sketch, I straight up draw the eyes and guide myself with the angle since I have the perspective in mind. I recommend you to practice with a lot of references so you understand the angle and draw without one

I feel that heads don’t really have a limit, you can always use different guidelines as heads come in different forms as well, perhaps you can explore which guidelines you’re more comfortable with like the cylinder structure or the rectangle structure, simple circles too ^^ l

The part closer to u/lower part of the grass would be cooler darker because it would create kind of a darker vignette so that the viewers eye would look more towards the center which seems to be the main focal point

Find comics or manga u like or even Google comic paneling and browse and look at different genres of comics and manga and stuff, u could start off with something simple like just a grid like a more early American comic type deal or not even use panels

When I started drawing comics in elementary and middle school tho Id panel it like this so it can’t be worse than this 💀

The lightest point around probably be around where u want ur focus to be maybe not like blaring light but a general gradient from dark going inwards to light would work ya

Even if u look at other ppls proffesional drawings and stuff they do things like this (this is just one example i found on like Google rlly fast tho and they can be more complex than this💀)
But u can notice where ur eye naturally rests in the horizon

you can see it naturally too. If you were to look at mountain ranges you’d see ones that are closer you can get the colour more rich, the further away it is the more blue/washed out it appears. Its very simple..

Yes true, youre right hmhmmm the thing is the light point is everywhere. The pariere is like everywhere a light bulb ans its hard to shadow or Focus on a point. You canr see eden bc i drew too big so i cant rll do that idk the Focus point but i try to do that, but thx

The thing is i need tje right colours too. The pencil i used is rll empty and i didnt realized it. I need to use it bc if i dont the colour green will be a horrible Mix and i dont have good greens that go smooth lighter and lighter to that pencil itll look like more thag i tried to burn there a gras point and the rest is dark its complicadet aaaa thats why i hate tradiditional art or xolouring things what i dont do a lot

Even though it’s pretty high up in the illustration somehow just by lines i find myself looking at the temple already so it could be good to aim there

It doesn’t mean everything else has to be dark, the example I put was pretty simple cuz u could also be like more complex versions of using color to highlight a focal point where they use not only darkness but also like

Density and line direction or just general shading
And I think u already have the line direction when it comes to the inking

They probably would still work cuz even if they have a more blue tone generally when a green color is in the shadows it turns a little blue and in the light it might turn a yellowish green or blueish green depending on if the light source is warm or not

I’m working on a skykid costume for Halloween, and I just got the lights installed on the cape. I’ve never done anything with fabric so it was quite a challenge cutting the cape to size. I 3D printed star-shaped casings for all of the lights, and I’m going to hook up a light sensor and program the lights to turn off one by one when the sensor senses darkness, as though it is draining my character’s light, and then turn them back on when the sensor senses light.

Chibi’s typically don’t have any sharp edges, so if you keep the lines smooth and soft and rounded except for hair and eyes then you should be good

Oh and the torso is usually around the same height as the head from what I see, arms are the same length too maybe just alittle longer and the legs are also a tad longer

It really depends on your style

Wwhshss I’ll give you my advice anyways. I tend to draw the eye thats furthest away first, after getting that one figured out i then go and draw the other eye. Which would be the easiest eye for you to draw

But to prevent them from looking mad/sad try experimenting with new eye techniques/styles and maybe even brushes. Studying expressions helps a ton too. And don’t be afraid to look at how others draw chibis!
